Happy Friday to you all!
Wow!! This week has went by super fast!! I am almost finished with my first week of training with Sephora. This is my new job I was hired at as a product consultant. So far I love it!! I have spent many years in the cosmetic industry prior to giving birth to my son in November 2003 and I forgot how much I love make-up and helping people look and feel good about themselves. The training was pretty intensive, but great! I have never worked for a brand that give you some much detailed training not only in product, but the science of skin, ingredients and much much more!! Today we trained in complexion products such as concealers, foundation, powders, bronzers, illuminators, and skin primer. And, let me tell you ladies they have a lot of AWESOME products!! I was like a kid in a candy store. hee hee.
Now I have been out of the make-up industry for 3 years and when they mentioned skin primer I was like what is that? What I found out is that it is a product that is used to smooth out your skin and fill in the non even texture on your skin to give it an smooth finish so when your foundation or whatever complexion product you use is applied it will go on seamlessly.
The product I tried was by Smashbox cosmetics. It is a color corrector and skin primer in one. I actually used the apricot and when I applied it to my the back of my hand it went on smooth and felt soooo silky!! loved!! It corrected the areas of my skin and gave my skin a even finished so that when my foundation was applied it gave my foundation a flawless finish. I was so excited and I can’t wait to get some of that amongst many other fun cosmetics from Sephora. My hubby is going to be scare, but thank God I get a gratis so I will not have to buy much make-up at all. The best part of the training is that I was training with the people that I will be working with and they are all so super sweet and I know that our team will work great today! In the long run that will make work worth it! Aside from missing my little guy while is in pre-school. He starts on September 17th and I am so nervous!! I know he will do fine, but I guess it is my first time sending my baby to be in someone else care other than family. So keep your fingers crossed that everything goes smooth.
Well, outside of that I finally got my exercise in for the day and TOM is beginning to exit and my scale is starting to move down and show me some love. Thank GOD!! So, I am about to sign off and do what I do best and surf the web until my hubby is ready to watch a movie, but I can’t say up too late because I have more training tomorrow and Sunday for 9am-6pm.

Did you check out Stila and Sephora brand products? Some of their pricing is comparable to the drugstore brand. Go back and check them out. I got a chance to check them out today and they are nicely priced.
Well I better go and give my little one and hubby some love since I just got home from training.
