Breakroom Evils!!

Hey all,

Sorry, I have been away for a while. I am just getting used to my new schedule. Many of you know that I am a stay at home mom and now I just started a new part-time job in the evenings and it is interesting and fun!! The best part is that it no sales at all!! Yipee!! All I do is data entry for Sears Holdings Corp. The challenges I am having is making sure I get my exercise in before or after work. It’s better if I do it before because once I get home at 9:00pm my mind is not even thinking about moving a muscle. lol. The other challenge is that this job rewards you with lot of sweet treats for a job well done and there is a breakroom with lots of treats, vending machines, and a open cafe too!!

Now I have been again at home for almost 4 years so I have to get used to that type of environment again. You maybe thinking why? You? Oh yeah me!! On Monday and Tuesday I was like a kid at a candy store. I snacked and snacked. Then wednesday morning I got the bad news from my scale to STOP THAT SNACKING!!! My scale was up 1.5 pounds as a result of my snacking. People it wasn’t small snacking. I had fries, cinnamon roll, snickers, chips, and candy both days. What was wrong with me?? I don’t know. It was just right in my face and easy to have right them and there.

So I got my butt together and came up with my plan to overcome thoses obstacles. You know it, BYOB!! (Bring your own bag!!) A bag of healthy snacks and dinners so that I can keep on track. So far it is working and the small gain is going away. Thank GOD!!!  Also, I met a few ladies that I will be working with that are watching their diets too so we help each other out and will continue too.

Now, I am very tired and I better get ready for bed. I really did workout today. I did 25 minutes of Tae Bo this afternoon will my little boy played with his train set and then he came in a finished the workout with me. He was sooo cute. He said I exercise!! Arman sweaty too, need to take a shower mommy. I love it!! Then when I got home tonight I did 20 more minute of step aerobics too. So, I am about to hit the showers and get ready for tomorrow. Arman and I will be most likely going to the park and I may take him to the pool too. We shall see.
