A lot of people have been asking me why I want six pack abs. I always answer them back with the question, who doesn’t? If you want to look good physically, you must work hard for it. Sacrifices have to be made and you need to know enough information about the right six pack exercises as well as the proper nutritional diet, which will help you reach your goal.

There are different reasons which can motivate anyone to start a regular exercise routine of abdominal workouts. Some people want to tighten the muscles around their stomach to look good and some are just plain health buffs. The fact is you don’t need supplements or pills to get the rockin’ body you want. Knowing how your diet affects your six pack abs is the first step. Follow it up with a commitment to perform a full body exercise regimen that helps burn fat.

We are not talking about boring treadmill or other cardio-based workouts here. You want to focus more on strength training exercises such as lunges, squats, dead-lifts, step-ups, swings and snatches. These types of exercises work every muscle in your body and burn the fat at a higher rate than cardio alone.

So, next time you’re off to do another six pack ab workout, keep these ideas in mind. Getting your six pack quest is a lofty goal - and one that is achievable, but you must be willing to literally run the extra mile. Many people that have never read nutritional labels before have recently started paying close attention to them. At the very least, people are watching more closely the main three items of nutrition facts- total fat, calories and dietary fiber. We should all take advantage of these lists since most all food and supplement products are required to list them.

Reading the nutrition facts can pay great benefits. A nutrition label provided by food manufacturers will provide you a good idea whether or not to buy the food product. It goes without saying, we will infrequently want to splurge and have some foods high in calories, but that is ok. Just try to eliminate them from the normal daily diet. Remember, not all like products are created the same. Thus, before deciding on one over another for sake of price, be sure to compare their respective nutrition facts.

In the beginning, it can be baffling if not frustrating trying to determine what to look out for. First, it should be recognized that the numbers provided for each nutrition category are just for one serving. Should two servings be eaten, the respective nutrition numbers must be doubled.

When reading the different nutritional values, make sure you are mindful of the total fat, the calories, and the dietary fiber that is in each serving. These are the most likely values to affect your health. Maintaining an awareness of the main three will give you a good start on a healthy diet plan for weight loss as well as give you the greatest opportunity to enhance your over all health.

Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum 2009 is finally available for purchase now! Remember I did a post about a few months ago? Well, it is here and will be going on my wish list along with the Wii Fit for Christmas. If you are looking for something fun to do you have got to workout on the Wii fit! It is so much fun and so different then a DVD.

Some of the reviews on this particular game was not that good. A majority of people felt that this is more of a game than a fitness program, so I guess I will have to find out for myself, huh? Have any of you purchased this game? If so, please leave some comments to share with us all because many of us here would like to know.

Wow, is all I have to say.  I am sore as hell after starting this workout DVD by Jillian Michaels called Jillian Michaels - 30 Day Shred. I am glad to be sore because that means I am on my way to shredding off this excess weight for good! (20 pounds that is, but hopefully less when I weight in tomorrow.) This workout is great for any workout level given that she includes her 3-2-1 Interval System that combines strength, cardio, and abs to burn through calories for a awesome 30 day weight loss.

The DVD includes three 20 minute workouts which progress by level of intensity. I am so glad there was a level one, because I have not workout at my advance level in a long time and if I did I would have hurt myself, lol. So,  this was a great start and man was I out of breath and out of shape.

I feel that this is a great workout for someone starting to exercise and does not have access to a gym. All you will need is a set of dumbbells. I started of with 5’s and I will begin to increase it up to 8lbs next weeks. I you need a new workout get Jillian Michaels - 30 Day Shred.

Hey all! I hope that you all had a great 4th of July celebration! Did you all go to the beach to see fireworks and all? My family and I went to our local park to catch a show full of action here in the Austin area and had a blast!! How did you all do on your eating? Me for one did okay given that the scale was only up .5lbs (170), but I will not worry because I will work that off and then some for the next 8 weeks.

Anyway, I was reading my email and came across this in a daily message that I receive from Jillian. I was surprised to see that Jillian Michaels is now offering a meal plan that is delivered through eDiets.com. So if you are so busy and it is difficult to prepare your own healthy meals eDiets will deliver them to you already packaged and ready to go.
