If you want to get rid of fatyou’ll have to desire itand I mean with all your heart, it just wont do to go into this thing with a half pie attitude of ‘we’ll see’. This will get you absolutely no where and lets face it ‘we will see’ means I do not really believe that I can do it, I do not have what it takes, so why really bother.

The above is like the lessons of ‘the secret’ and ‘Dale Carnegie’, we get exactly what we expect. If we expect to get rid of our excess fat that is precisely will happen.

The three main areas to focus on in getting rid of that excess weight. (With everything in life, success is usually down to three things)

Preparation
Planning &
Execution

Preparation
Prepare yourself mentally for battle, you will need to become stubborn and resolute in not letting anything stand in your way of your pursuit in This time be absolutely 100% committed to changing your lifestyle because that iswhat is needed, to get this thing done and this time no yo-yo’s this time is different, this time it is going to be permanent. Prepare a list of the obstacles you faced last time, here is my list.

Saboteur’s
Family
Restaurants
Work
Holiday Season
laziness

What I did to combat this, is I wrote my list as above and thought of all the ways that the things on my list had got in the way in the past and at first I was livid, boy was I angry. Then I thought of ways to dis-arm everything that they could possibly throw my way. Each answer of dealing with a situation became my armor. Guess what happened, my preparation paid off and I achieved my goals. Friends (saboteur’s) even told me they admired how strong I had become and they even sort my advice without any prompting on my part, which was really terrific.

Planning
Listen up and Listen good you will quadruple your results if you pen your plan and implement it without deviating.

Write down the following sub headings and then write your plan under each sub heading, in a note book

goals
weight
measurements
exercise regime / schedule

Use another note book for a food diary, here you will write down everything that you eat and drink during the day. It is important to do it after each meal, not at the end of the day. You have another task at the end of the day and that is to go through your food diary with a calorie counter ( a small book with the calorie count of each food item listed) which is available from most good book stores. Add up the total and check that you are on track. Look at the foods you have consumedand astrix anything that fell into the naughty category. Please do not beat yourself up or feel too guilty, use it as a tool to keeping on track in getting rid of that fat forever.

Execution
Effort here equals results, if you do not put in the effort the only person that you are betraying is yourself, what price can you put on happiness, it is the one true commodity that is priceless, right!
Stick to your plan, there really is no excuse for missing out a workout, I find that when I I feel to lazy to carryout my exercise program and force myself off the couch I usually end up having the best workout and feel full of energy after wards.

If you have scheduled a run at 11 am, go and do it at that scheduled time, have your gear prepared the night before, I forgot my running shoes, please! (refer to para one).

Once again, write down all your completed workouts, this information will become invaluable for further planning and assessing your progress.

So if you want to get rid of Fat, get serious, get real and take the time to prepare, plan and execute. The end result will be, you feeling and looking the part of a winner and you are.

Strip That Fat Enables You to Become an Olympic Dieter—Instantly

new-yearThe most recent Olympic games are now finished; but no matter where you live on this planet, the odds are pretty good that you have managed to watch at least a part of the show.

If you are an American, or an aspiring athlete of any nationality, you can only be thrilled with Mark Phelps.

Using Phelps as an example, ask yourself: Did you see any doubt to dive in and set yet another record? Do you think that there was any question in his mind as to his ultimate success?

The answer to both of those rhetoricals is a resounding NO–maybe even HELL NO!

And why not?

Could be the total concentration on the goal.

Could be any one or more of a lot of things; but, it could also be the seemingly endless number of defeats along the way. Mark Phelps first had to overcome the inborn fear of the water; then he had to learn to swim–to coordinate all the muscles in his body to propel himself forward.

Then came the endless “failures”. No matter what he did, there was always someone who could swim faster, farther than he could…and they made it look so easy.

And now, many years, many “failures” later, he is not only an Olympic success, his success is unparalleled in Olympic history.

And now it’s your turn to become an Olympic Dieter; especially, and only, if you have “failed” often enough.

The opportunities for dieting failure are all around. Do a “google” for “diets” and you will be returned twenty-nine million, five hundred thousand (that’s 29,500,000) pages. Even if you have already tried half of them (at least it FEELS that way), you are still faced with the opportunity to fail another 15 million times. And that’s good; but a bit extreme.

To become a true “Olympic Dieter”, five or more failures will be enough to put you in the “semi-finals” at least. Of course, the longer you have been trying and the more times you have failed, the more qualified you’ve become.

You can’t have missed Slim Fast, Nutrisystem, and Jenny Craig. They do the most advertising; and that usually means they are the most successful and make the most money.

True “Olympic Dieters” however, measure success in weight, not dollars. You decide.

So go ahead. If one of those remaining 15,000,000 pages looks interesting, give it a shot. Just remember to call it another “training exercise”. For the purposes of this article…failures are good. Required, in fact.

My most recent “training exercise” involved $60 per month cups of “secret Oriental tea”( I don’t know if it was green, black or white–only that it was “not available in stores”).

The accompanying instructions advised that I should EAT LESS, EXERCISE MORE, AND DRINK TWO CUPS OF THE MAGIC TEA every day.

At this point in an “Olympic Dieter’s” training, the question arises: “And what happens if I eat less… exercise more…and DON’Tdrink the darned tea?”

See how easy it is to get to the semi-finals? But, numerous failures were required to learn this most important lesson.

The Holy Grail for “Olympic Dieters” will be that one page among the twenty-nine and a half million “possibles” that enables us to get to the platform and receive our gold medal by eating…more or less, and exercising…more or less.

As recent converts to the “Olympic Dieting” concept, Gayle and I will be using the information contained in the Strip That Fat package—health dieting with a healthy diet built around healthy (yet very appealing) foods.Lose Weight Diet Plan

The plans include admission to the “Olympic Dieter’s” gold medal club (80 pounds or more); and to do so within the next six months… ending July 1st, 2009.

To bolster our commitment we have posted some pretty scary pictures. See for yourself. Lose Weight Guaranteed

Remember in my previous post I was talking about starting this 8 week slimdown program I found on bodybuilding.com. Well, I officially started it on Sunday 7/6/08!! I was just so excited to get started because I had a bit of fun eating on the 4th of July. Burgers, hotdogs, and I will not name any more. Saturday evening I ventured out to the grocery store and picked up my goods for this week. I am not kidding. Check out my stash below:

My list of goods consisted of:

  • turkey bacon
  • turkey deli meat
  • chicken breast
  • tuna
  • steak
  • salmon
  • Almonds
  • eggs & egg whites
  • salad
  • low fat mayo
  • low fat yogurt
  • non fat cottage cheese
  • instead of cream of rice I did instant grits
  • fruits, veggies
  • low fat dressing
  • natural peanut butter
  • diet soda
  • green tea

Phew!! Long list. So far I have been working this plan and I am seeing results already like 3lbs!! My exercise plan for myself so far is:

  • 20-30 minute walk/jog in the morning or elliptical
  • afternoon either cardio (interval training) or weight training the upper or lower body on alternate days.

I have to say the food is not bad at all and I now I will be able to make it through the eight weeks and then on to maintaining. I just finished my last workout today which was my lower body (leg extensions, hamstring curls, dead lift, lunges, and abs! So i am happy! I swear I am ready to get down so that I can model my skinny jeans and be ready for our trip to Disney World in September!! Well, I am out for the evening.

Chat later-

Natasha
