Build Muscle And Lose Fat: Is That Really Possible?

Weight loss help, build muscle and lose fat, exercise, fitness, bodybuilding man with those huge biceps and a thin waist? The truth is that we all love to look good. However, keeping ourselves in good shape is not always a child’s play. I have come across many obese people who want to lose weight without doing anything.

Let us first convince ourselves that one cannot lose weight (or fat) without ‘sweating it out’. In other words, you need to work out at a gymnasium or do some form of aerobics and/or cardiovascular exercise to burn fat. There are no shortcuts whatsoever to get a well-toned body in a week or two. There are five essential nutrients that we all require, irrespective of age and sex- carbohydrates, proteins, fats, minerals and vitamins.

Carbohydrates give us energy. There are two types of carbohydrates- simple carbohydrates and complex carbohydrates. Stick to complex carbohydrates like potatoes, pasta and oatmeal. It is foolish to believe that consumption of carbohydrates results in weight-gain. Opt for low GI (Glycemic Index) foods. Like carbohydrates, fats are also important. Educate yourself about the difference between ‘good fats’ and ‘bad fats’.

Is it possible to ‘build muscle and lose fat’ simultaneously? It has been proved that following a strict workout regimen along with a well-planned diet program definitely helps in weight loss. What is the recipe to build muscle and lose fat? There is no magical method to make you slim overnight. Cardiovascular exercises like swimming, running, cycling burn more calories than other exercises.

Any form of cardiovascular exercise must be performed on an empty stomach. Right after you get up in the morning, you should perform a 30-minute cardiovascular workout. If you want to build muscle and lose fat, you must say ‘goodbye’ to fried snacks and sweets.

You must read ‘health articles’ on the World Wide Web. You can also find ‘exercise videos’ on the Internet. Such videos are of great help if you want to learn the correct way of performing an exercise using a dumbbell or a barbell. Caffeine and green tea also aid in fat loss. Type the keywords ‘weight loss help‘ on any of the search engines and you would find a number of fitness portals matching your requirements.

Bodybuilding Fat Loss Tips For Men And Women

Transform your body in 2009!
With no down-time between sets, you become more involved in your bodybuilding fat loss. There’s no time for daydreaming, wishing you were somewhere else or becoming bored. In fact, a most desirable attitude of training develops, one that we wrongly think is reserved for athletes on the fringe of competition. This attitude of training is a valuable tool of confidence and provides a very real psychological benefit.

I’d alternate between two workouts, looking for bodybuilding fat loss and time-plus-effort commitment channeled into four sessions a week. Considering these virtuous prerequisites, a Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Friday scheme works well, giving you Wednesday and the weekend off for rest and relaxation, balance and order. It is these things of the mind and body that make light-weights perfectly heavy for muscle intensity (maximized tension within the muscle) and provoke muscle responses you’ve never experienced.

High rep dead lifts for a strong bodybuilding fat loss – a classic favorite of hardcore lifters with a generous heart. This is an excellent addition to a routine. Gives it guts and charm. Don’t forget – warm up and stay warm. Fuel up with a protein shake, and lots of water. You’ll perform far better, stronger, longer, inspired by an awesome pump and high spirits with less chance of injury.

Training techniques, exercise descriptions and nutritional strategies form the book’s foundation, but what glues this book together are his personal experiences and insights, humor and candidness, all of which speak to the heart and soul. The delight in the iron work, the play of the steel and the redefined weight loss motivation will have you striving forward to reach your fitness and training goals.

Further your fat loss workouts — or take your first steps — as you find yourself caught up in the style and rhythm that is Dave’s alone. You’ll see the lessons of Brother Iron, Sister Steel hit home as your training enthusiasm abounds. In your next match with the weights you’ll see the work of your muscles with new clarity under the guidance of his insight.

Another seldom reviewed benefit of dumbbell training is the powerful clean necessary to set them in place, and the fight to return them to the starting position and back in the rack upon exercise completion. This is called a good old-fashioned work — bull work — that builds the body in functional and muscle and energy connected ways that static exercise does not and cannot. Go for it.

Happy New Year!: What I Am I Up To?

Happy New Year!: What I Am I Up To?

happy_new_year_10Happy New Year everyone!! I hope that you all had a great time bringing it in. I certainly did. My father in law decided to ring in the New Year with our son, so that meant that DH and I rang the New Year in as a couple. I was so much fun!! We stayed up until 2:00a.m.!! Don’t laugh. I don’t remember that last time we have done that and to top that off we slept in until 10:00am. It was so nice!

So, with all of the New Year celebrating and Christmas eating where am I now? Honestly I gained back the 6lbs I lost. I found this out after weighing myself after Christmas day. So DH and I started out New Years day exercising and eating healthy and now I am proud to say that I have 2 more pound to go! With that  I will be back to my pre-Christmas weight of 178lbs!! Yeay!!

Now DH and I made our New Years resolutions and one of them is to get back to our goal weights by March 1st. So it is on!! I am excited too. 160 here I come!!! We both took our before pics and I will post them one March 1st, so that you all can see the before and afters.

Many are asking what are you eating? Well, I like to cook, so I am preparing meals for the two of us that are similar to Nutrisystem’s guidelines, low glycemic, low carbs and such. Then we are also working out together. That’s mean weight training to build muscle in order to burn more fat and cardio!!

Today I will be doing step aerobics for 30 minutes and when DH gets home from work I will be doing some weight training. He always have a great circuit to go by. Well, I will be going for now. I got to take down the Christmas tree and workout before my little one comes home from school.

Have a great day!!!

Lose Fat

Want to get rid of those extra pounds? Well, then all you need to do is simply write down your daily food intake, for it can double your Diet Plan, according to a new study.

The study, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, followed 1,700 Fat people over six months, and revealed that those who wrote down everything they ate lost an average of 13lb.

“Recording what you eat can really help you with Diet Plan, because a lot of the time, you’re not conscious of your behavior,” Times Online quoted Azmina Govindji, a consultant nutritionist and author of The Hot Body Plan, as saying.

“Some eating habits are situational – for example, having tea and a chocolate biscuit while watching your favorite television program. We do it on autopilot. If you know that you actually have to record every item you eat, it gives a split-second pause for thought. You think, ‘Do I really want to write this down.’

“Through the use of a food journal, we often become aware of patterns that are self-destructive.

“We become more authentically honest with ourselves, and we start asking the question ‘What’s eating me?’ instead of ‘What can I eat?’ ” Govindji said.

Even people who believe that they are resolutely healthy can get a shock when they see everything written down in black and white.

“Once someone spots a pattern, then they can do something to change it,” Govindji said.

The most common patterns she uncovers are in those who eat naughty foods because they are bored, hormonal or depressed.

Over-restriction

Did it occur to you why a lot of weight loss programs record failures? The primary factor responsible for that is the characteristic over-restriction found with most of the weight loss programs. Anyone that chooses such would eventually have to limit the kind of foods eaten down to the amount of calories consumed.

Often times, the body refuses to adapt thus leaving it with no other option than bowing to the strings of needless weight gain. This makes the primary reason for finding the right weight loss program remain that it allows the eating of a good variety of foods and therefore not too restrictive. However, this does not send the signal of eating unnecessary foods like cupcakes, candy bars and milkshakes every day. If one does that, one would never lose weight.

Crash-dieting

The absence of crash dieting is another factor to be looked at when choosing a good weight loss program. Good weight loss programs allow one to shed excess weight safely and healthily over a long period of time. Most of the time, the urge to lose weight immediately is there, but one has to resist it. One might eventually have to quit the weight loss program if resistance to the urge was unsuccessful and then go back to the previous weight again.

Good weight loss programs would not allow one to feel hungry often, unlike the crash diets would do. Rather, one would be allowed to be filled comfortably. One would also be allowed to eat some of their favorites while still losing weight.

It can be concluded from the above discussion that not all weight loss plans are able to deliver what they claim. Two most important features of an effective and healthy weight loss program is the one that is not too restrictive and isn’t based on the idea of instant results. An effective diet plan uses flexible approach and it brings desirable results over a period of time in a healthy manner.

Type Of Body Building Supplement

Type Of Body Building Supplement

Bodybuilding supplements are substances taken by athletes involved in weight training or other sports to aid in the building of lean muscle mass or to cause fat loss.

Bodybuilding supplements may also be used to improve sports performance and improve recovery from events and training. One important distinction exists in many weight training groups between supplements and anabolic steroids. There is a common misconception among non-supplement-users that supplementation for muscle-building purposes is the same as steroid use or, at the very least, leads to steroid use. If you need more detail information you can check this link bodybuilding fitness supplement

Guide to choose best supplement for bodybuilding supplement:

Before you go on to understand the different varieties of supplements, remember that you must buy the supplement that can help you achieve your bodybuilding goals. If you choose the wrong supplement, it will not work. Now, here are the hottest, in-vogue bodybuilding supplements that must be considered for legitimate bodybuilding needs.

Creatine

Creatine is primarily used to beef up on muscle mass and to increase strength. But creatine has other benefits too – it wards off tiredness, combats muscle atrophy (muscle waste), decreases cholesterol and boosts metabolism, helping your body to burn fat faster.

Nitric Oxide

Nitric oxide is another important bodybuilding supplement that helps in delivering nutrients to muscle cells by increasing blood circulation. In other words, nitric oxide helps build muscular mass. More muscular mass then helps develop weight-lifting capacities. Apart from this primary benefit, this supplement also helps control blood pressure and boosts the immune system. Many bodybuilders claim that it also increases their urge to make love.

Proteins

Proteins are one of the most essential part of a bodybuilder’s diet. There is no substitute for them when it comes to building muscles and body mass. Proteins are amino acids that can help build a muscular body and help maintain it. Experts recommend that if proteins are to be effective bodybuilding agents, they must be taken in conjunction with carbohydrates. Protein made from whey is considered as one of the most effective bodybuilding protein.

Finally, the majority of the best legal bodybuilding supplements are reviewed frequently by fitness magazines and also by professional bodybuilders. If you are considering taking these supplements, then reading opinions and reviews published in these magazines will do you a whole lot of good. You will be able to figure out which supplement will work best for you and then can go on to develop a brand new muscular body that you can proudly flaunt. How Can You Get Rid Of Stubborn Belly Fat

A lot of people have been asking me why I want six pack abs. I always answer them back with the question, who doesn’t? If you want to look good physically, you must work hard for it. Sacrifices have to be made and you need to know enough information about the right six pack exercises as well as the proper nutritional diet, which will help you reach your goal.

There are different reasons which can motivate anyone to start a regular exercise routine of abdominal workouts. Some people want to tighten the muscles around their stomach to look good and some are just plain health buffs. Motivation is one factor that plays an important role in your success to get a flat stomach.

Exercises to lose weight is probably the most difficult task you may encounter. However, you can try different cardiovascular exercises and abdominal workouts in order to be fit and get that flat abs. Remember that proper nutrition is important to reduce your body fat. If you eat healthy and exercise regularly, getting washboard abs is not as hard as it may seem.

Want to use some muscle supplements? They seem great don’t they? They have flashy labels and catchy infomercials on TV where they show people amazing results. WRONG. Almost all of fancy supplements or diet pills which are supposed to make you lose fat is just a complete waste of money. There are no “magic pills” that will instantly make you lose the layer of fat without you sweating it out or working hard for it.

The fact is you don’t need supplements or pills to get the rockin’ body you want. Knowing how your diet affects your six pack abs is the first step. Follow it up with a commitment to perform a full body exercise regimen that helps burn fat.

We are not talking about boring treadmill or other cardio-based workouts here. You want to focus more on strength training exercises such as lunges, squats, dead-lifts, step-ups, swings and snatches. These types of exercises work every muscle in your body and burn the fat at a higher rate than cardio alone.

So, next time you’re off to do another six pack ab workout, keep these ideas in mind. Getting your six pack quest is a lofty goal – and one that is achievable, but you must be willing to literally run the extra mile. Learn more about successful weight loss and effective exercise regimen so you could put an end to your battle against weight loss permanently.

Back To The Healthy Life For Me

Back To The Healthy Life For Me

Hey all, it has been another hot minute since I have chatted with you all, huh? I am enjoying life way too much but that’s not so bad right? My mom, was here visiting from Wisconsin last week. I haven’t seen here in over a year, so I was soooooo excited to see her. We celebrated our son’s 5th birthday on Saturday at chuck e cheese which was a blast. My son loves Star wars and he racked up on the light sabers and star wars toys.

Then this past Sunday my mom and I had a wonderful mother daughter day shopping at the outlets. We had such a great time shopping, but when it came time to try on clothes all I can say is YIKES!! It funny through my mom and I are the same size which means we both gained the same amount of weight except for God has blessed her with the breasts and gave me all the booty, lol. Now, I still weight 180 which puts me from a size 8 to a 10/12. So lets just say I did not buy a lot of clothes because I did not want to get used to being in a 12.

So, now I will punish myself and wear my tight 10′s for now. Why? because it gives me a daily reminder to make smarter choices with eating the right portion of foods, exercise, drinking lots of water, and learning again to eat only when hungry and not snacking. I can do this and I will and I now how. With that said here is my outline for today:

meals:

  1. Breakfast: 1 turkey sausage- 120 cals, 2 poached eggs- 160 cals, and 1 serving of blueberries 60 cals total: 340 cals
  2. Lunch: Protein shake 200 cals & 1/2 banana 60 cals: total 260
  3. Snack: String cheese: 60 cals & grapes 70 cals: 130 cals
  4. Dinner: weight watcher’s chicken oriental 230 cals, salad 50 cals, and asparagus 26: total: 306
  5. Dessert: South Beach chocolate pudding 100 cals banana 60 (1/2)

total cals: 1196

Water: goal 64 oz

Exercise: 30 minutes of Jillian Michaels DVD and 20 minutes of the elliptical

Well, I am off to conquer my list of things before my son gets home from school. Until next time have a safe and healthy day!
