april-2008-023.jpgAs I mention before the scale and I have been in cahoots since Easter Sunday’s splurges and post Easter fun too. What does it take to get the mind serious enough to get in shape? I guess when the size 8 are fitting so tight to the point you have to wear 10’s, right? Well that is where I am currently at and I don’t want to be there anymore. I refuse to buy bigger sized clothes, I absolutely will not. I will only buy 8’s and 10’s for this summer so that means on thing. Get to work!! So far my progress post Easter has been(Pre Weigh in Numbers were at 172lbs:

  1. Week1 (March 30th): -1 (171)
  2. Week 2(April 6th): 0 (171) I found the reason why I had no lost is due to late night snacking. So this week I am hoping to see big improvement because I purchased so gum to chew on when I get in the snacky mode. Usually I am not hungry I just want something to chew or crunch on. So the gum or carrots will be a tremendous help.

My new goals or rewards will be in order to keep myself on track and motivated are:

  1. 170lbs: Purchase a pair of Michael Kors sunglasses, or cheaper the ones from his outlet store for $60. Hee hee
  2. 165lbs: Purchase a New Eyeshadow pallet by Nars.
  3. 160lbs: Purchase a workout suit from BeBe Sport. What do you think of this outfit?
  4. 155lbs: A sports armband to hold my Ipod.
  5. 150lbs: New workout shoes by Nike.

So, those are my incentive goals. Many people usually ask me what keeps me motivated to maintain or lose, well here you go! Also I love wear the small clothing and the way I look in them. I also love the look my husband gives me too.

So what are your goals for this summer? I would love to know? Did you gain a bit during the winter months and are ready to reveal your spring/summer bods? Let me know and we can keep each other focused. Well, I am off to stretch and do 25 minutes of cardio today on my elliptical and workout my abs. Yesterday I did 30 minutes of steps and 20 minutes of weights and I am sore so I will keep the cal intake low and keep cardio low impact too.

have a great day :)

  2. Hi, I like to do that too, give myself non-food rewards at 5lb increments - it makes the journey so much more fun, doesn’t it?

You’re reminded me that I need to set some up for myself again, because at this moment I don’t have any rewards pending. As far as my goals, they are to remain sugar-free (free of refined sugar and white flour) and to stay on plan by eating clean, whole foods, as well as get in my regular exercise. As long as I do this I’ll get to my goal (I have approx. 30lbs to lose), and get back into the clothes in my closet. :)

You’re really doing great with your progress, keep it up! :)
