Hi everyone!! I am so excited that Christmas will be here in a couple more days. I haven’t been eating on plan as much and I will not stress about it. New Years day it is ON!! I just got Armie into bed and I just finished baking my Strawberry Cheese cake for my Christmas day dinner. The only thing I have to do tomorrow when I get home from retail hell is cook, my dressing, greens, and yams. Then after that DH, Armie and I will watch The Polar Express served with Hot Chocolate and Christmas cookies. Once that is over and we will get Armie to bed then DH and I will be getting the presents from the attic.
That’s right the attic. Our child is such a sneak that we had to hide the wrapped gifts in the attic. So, we will be placing them under the tree and getting all of the candy out for Christmas morning late, late Christmas eve. Phew!! I am tired thinking about it! On Christmas day I will be baking my Turkey and ham and getting stuff together before family arrives for dinner.
I just had to post of pic of our Christmas tree too. I think I did a okay job decorating it with the family, my dinning room and I also decorated the mantle as well. What ya think?



On Christmas eve we will have Armie place a plate of cookies and milk for Santa to eat. He is too cute! Today he looked up into the fireplace and said, “Santa will be coming right here”! Isn’t that funny? I told him that’s right!

I can’t believe I missed my motivation Monday quote yesterday. With the Holidays and all I have been so busy lately. I can’t believe I am saying this, but I can’t wait until Christmas too. I am ready for all of the retail madness to be finished now. People get themselves so worked up about buying a particular item and when they wait until them last minute to buy things and find that they are out of stock they want to give you some attitude about why aren’t you sufficiently stocked. Well… come on it is 7 days before Christmas, what do you expect? Ahhh!! Sorry I just had to vent for a sec.
Today I am off from work YEY!!! So, I will be catching up on the cardio and lifting today along with house work and stuff. Although if my son had it his way we would be gone all day and playing, but we can not do that all the time. lol.
I can’t believe tonight the biggest loser’s season finale is here!! I am so excited!! I can’t wait to see the transformations. Who do you think will win? I don’t know at this point, so we will have to see.
Anyway, I will have to go for now. I will definitely find a nice quote to post today too.

I am so happy I got a chance to sneak 25 minutes on my elliptical and 15 minutes of leg workout with weights!!! I just got out of the shower, dressed for work and all made up with my fun colors from Sephora. Now, I am going to make my dinner which will be tuna steak and zucchini for work and sit back and watch t.v (days of our lives) and ready my latest shape magazine.

Well it is Wednesday and it is cold, dark and rainy. How much fun. (Yeah right!) Today I am feeling a bit tired and drained from yesterday. I was cleaning, cooking and working out. Oh yes! I managed to get my workouts in even though I didn’t want to, lol. Today I am feeling sore and just want to stay in bed, but with a little one that is not likely to happened on top of having to go into work later this afternoon at 2:00pm until 10pm.
What’s your goal today? Do you have workouts planned? My goal today is to let my body rest and recover and then tomorrow I will complete some cardio with step aerobics and leg and ab workouts. My other goal is to stick to my meal plan which will be:
- Meal 1: Cheerios, banana, and canadian bacon
- Meal 2: snack trail mix
- Meal 3: lunch protein shake
- Meal 4:yogurt and grapes
- Meal 5: salmon and green beans
That about it for me today. Kind of boring huh? Well, I am off to see what my little on it up to and maybe sneak and wrap up his Christmas gifts, but I better not because he will sneak up on me and then all hell will break loose and he will want to play. Until later

ugh!! It is Monday and I finally got some good old cardio in this morning. However, I am kind of upset that I did not lift as much as I intended to do. I wanted to work on my bicep, triceps, lat, back, chest, and abs, but all I got a chance to do it lats, rows, triceps. I was busy playing with my son which is not a bad thing, then I was washing clothes, making dinner, and working on business papers and cleaning the kitchen before I leave for work at 3:30pm. I was supposed to be at work at 2;00pm, but our sitter is not available, darn it!! My dinner is almost done, but know I need to hop into the shower get my make up on. I work until 11:00pm tonight. I like my job at Sephora, but the hours are really getting to me. I miss being at home with my son, but I guess I will stop whining for now, huh? I just need to vent for a second. Things will get better because I know they will. Maybe if I have energy tonight I will work my biceps, chest and abs before going to bed.

Omg!! I realized that I have not got much exercise in these past few days and I need to get that in order fast!! Yesterday I worked at from 4pm to 12am Yikes!! When I got home DH was still up and we were talking and did not go to sleep until 2am them 4 hours later our son woke up ready to play and I told him to just come into bed with us and go back to sleep. That’s bad, huh? I was just so tired. The today I got up and was trying to get the elliptical together so that when I get home from work I could exercise on it for the first time, but that did not happened either. I got home to eat dinner then played with our son and put more Christmas lights outside then it was time to get him ready for bed. Once I got Armie to bed and then DH and finished putting the elliptical together, Yey!!
So my plan in the morning is to hop on that baby and workout for 20 minutes and burn some calories, then when I return from work later I will lift hard working out my upper body and abs.
I tell you retail hours can really get to a person, but I will get over it for now. I am going to bed and get ready for another day. At least on Sunday night All of us at Sephora will be having a Sephora Christmas dinner at TGI Fridays and exchange gifts and that will be fun!!

Hi everyone!! I am so excited because I have been waiting and wanting an elliptical for so long and you know because I have been blogging about forever, and guess what? It here at my house!! It’s not a top of the line one. I just wanted an inexspensive one to work with until I can afford to shell out the big $$$’s for a proform. I bought it today at Wal-Mart and I bragged the heavy box into the front door a few hours ago!! What I purchased was the Image 8.25 Elliptical Machine for a GREAT price too! When I first saw it online it was selling for $250.00, then it went on sale for $212 and then bounced back up to $224. Then at the middle of the week I looked back online and saw that it was on sale for $198.00. So I told my hubby and he said go and get it!!! So I did early this morning. It looks like this:
 and I love it! I am so excited that I don’t think that I can wait until my hubby gets home to put it together. I will do it. I can read, lol. I will just have to open the box and take each piece up one by one. I am sick, huh? hee hee. Oh well. I just had to share my excitement with you. I will post a pic very very soon. Okay day 12 of my challenge and I cheated. I had Jack in the Box for dinner, I know, but I needed to get it out of my system before I binge really bad over the weekend and sabotage my weight loss from Thanksgiving. Even though I cheated I did jog for 2 miles with my girlfriend in the neighborhood, so I don’t feel too bad that my cardio was done today. Today i did take a day off from weight training and will resume tomorrow with more cardio and weights.
Today was fun though!! I managed to get my holiday shopping completed for my hubby and all I need to do tomorrow morning is click on Toys R us.com and pay for Arman’s Christmas toys and his cousin’s presents and I am all done with my holiday shopping!! Yahoooo! I am glad I do not have to step a foot inside Toys R us. People get crazy when the store is out of their selections or if someone else takes that last toy. Good grief, people just need to calm down.
Are you done with you Christmas shopping? How much more do you have to purchase? I hope not too much because the store will be getting crazy over the weekend and as it get closer to Christmas.

Okay I just had to check in one more time before I go to bed. I am so proud of myself. I woke up early and did my cardio step routine and I broke out the biggest loser workout DVD and workout at home with Bob. (I wish, huh?) But it was like he was in my house. I decided to do the sculpt section of the DVD and my upper and lower body was burning, but a good burn that will melt off this excess fat. hee hee. Then I did some house work and got ready for work.
Work was okay, it could have been a little more busy, but oh well. I am home now and I am off on Thursday. Yay!! I will be sneaking off in the morning to pick up my hubby’s Christmas gifts and then pick up our son from Grandpa’s house. I miss him already!! I was going to keep him there till friday, but I want my little man home. Next week I am excited because we will be taking him to see the Trail Of Lights at Zilker park in Austin, Texas. It’s Christmas light trail for miles that is awesome for little ones to enjoy this time of year. I will take pics and share.
Well, I am beginning to ramble so I will check out for now and get some sleep.

It’s Monday again and I am feeling a little blah today. I re-read my quote to get me fired up to exercise before going into work. I have already finished some of my housework such as: washing dishes, fixing dinner for my guys to eat later, washed clothes (now I just need to put 3 load of laundry away, grrr), and iron my uniform for work.
I guess I am kind of blah because I thought I would have seen 164 today on the scale, but not today. Is it plateau time again? If so it is time to switch up my meal plan a bit and switch up the workouts. yey… I will fix my attitude quickly today I promise, but the thing that has got me excited is that I will be picking up my elliptical training that I have been talking about all this time this weekend! Yey!!! That will totally help me when I get tired of DVD’s.
Well, I am off to get the laundry done and off to exercise..
