Man I am feeling good this week! My workouts and eating have been 100% to plan and the scale is rewarding me for that. I got on the scale this morning and I saw 166 which is great!! I am getting closer to hitting my first goal of 160. What have I been going? Well that Jari Love Get ripped 1000!! That workout is fierce!! She does a total body workout kind of like circuit training with weights. OMG!! My entire body was sore. I like the fact that she breaks up the weight training with cardio in the mix, so as a result you do indeed burn a lot of calories. In a bit I will be hoping on the elliptical for a 15 minute cardio workout and then I will be working on my biceps, triceps, and abs.
I have nothing else planned today but to go into work tonight, huh. Other than that I will hang out with my son and make the most of today.
I just finished my workout for today! So now I can go into work feeling like I accomplished my fitness goals today. I did 31 minutes of core express from the tae bo amped series. After that I did:
Biceps: 2 reps of 15 with 10lbs/ 1 reps of 15 with 20lbs
Triceps: 3 reps of 15 with 10lbs
Arnold press: 2×15 with 10lbs
I also had the clean the family room and vacuum, boring. In a second I have to prepare dinner for the boys and then I will be off to work. Oh yeah, I am doing well with my eating too. I ate:
breakfast burrito: 1 egg, 1/2 jenny O sausage, and orange
It’s after noon and I already got my workout in for today. Last night I was able to completely finish my leg workout so I did it today on my bowflex. I did:
leg extensions : 130lbs 4 reps
hamstring curls: 110lbs 4 reps
squats with 10lbs weights in hand
15 minutes of abs work on a stability ball
5 minutes of cardio on the elliptical. ( I will try to do more cardio after I return from work at least 15 more minutes, ugh!)
My meal plan:
Breakfast: south beach wrap with egg and turkey sausage, orange (300 calories)
Lunch: Lean cuisine pizza and salad(370 calories)
Snack: 100 calories pack of musketeers bar (I needed something sweet) (100 cals)
Dinner: Chicken, cauliflower (250 calories)
Dessert: Weight watcher brownie (190 cals)
totals: approx 1300 calories
Water : 70 ounces
Tomorrow I will most likely kick up the cardio and complete Tae bo amped 40 minutes workout and lift with my upper body and Friday I will take the day off and relax.
Okay, I am just feeling silly and in a fun mood. Who wants to join me in bringing sexy back this summer with lean bodies? Pick me! Pick ME!! I am going be 15 pounds lighter and leaner than ever this summer. So in lieu of that I am going to play this song to get us all going.
Okay this is crazy! You know how when you get sick you eat a little of nothing? Or have much of an appetite? Well, starting Wednesday my appetite came back full force. I was sooooo hungry the past few days and let me tell you I ate junky! Wedesday I ate great in the morning and lunch, but when dinner time came I had Panda Express’s 2 plate entre which includes chow main noodles, mixed veggies and orange chicken. Then when I got home from work we had cake. Oh my gosh!! Later that evening I was so thirsty I drank 40 ounces of water before bed.
Yesterday was not any better. I had a healthy breakfast and when lunch came I had Mcdonalds. ( A Big Mac and Fries) Holy moo cow. Then for dinner I had Panda Express again, same plate. I also drank alot of water too that evening. Yikes!! I guess my body was needing some slack, but now I done.
Today I have all of my meals planned and ready to go so that I can avoid anymore eating frenzies. My meals are:
breakfast. cheerios, orange, cheese
Lunch: Tuna steak, greens beans
snack: apple cheese
Dinner: Spaghetti with greens and orange
Dessert: weight watchers ice cream/ or apple bake
As far as exercise I really need to get back into the habit because it has been at a minimum. Today I will get my elliptical workout in after chatting here and leg workout on the bowflex and I will call it a day.
April, Tress, or Beka! Help I need a new fat burner/ fat loss supplement. A friend of mine suggested that I try hydroxycut and I did, but……. That stuff make me feel like I am on speed (I have never been on it, but have seen the affects on others, lol) I felt gittery and off balance. Can you all recommend something that will not have that affect on me? I did it for two weeks and it works, but I had to stop because I do not like the way I felt on that supplement. Help?

Ahh.. finally this crap is leaving my system and now I have the strength to really exercise today. I think my plan will be to do 30 minutes of step aerobics after Arman and I play with some of his Christmas toys. Then before dinner and the Biggest Loser comes on tonight I will workout my legs and complete 15-20 minutes of my elliptical.
I just came to the realization that this is my second week working out in this New Year. Week one I lost 6 pounds bringing me to 164. This Thursday will be week 2 and so far just maintaining since I was sick. I am hoping for at least 1 pound to leave this body, so I better work my but off the next fews days. Well, I am off to check out Victoria’s Secrets sale online and use my gift card to purchase a velour hoodie and pant set. I think I will get a red set? What do you all think?
Hey all! Thanks you so much for your kind words and wishing me better health these past few days. Today I am feeling 90% better with meds and it is also my first day back to some exercise. I just kept the exercise a bit easy today and I will ease myself back into my normal routine. I just did 15 minutes of cardio on my elliptical and 15-20 minutes of weight training on my biceps, triceps, shoulders and abs.
I can’t believe that being sick and having too much soup and crackers can make me retain so much water. I feel kind of bloated, but I am sure that will ease during the week as I continue to eat healthy and exercise a bit more.
Tomorrow before I head into work I will do tae bo amped for 30 minutes and work out my legs. I can not wait until I am 100% being sick make you tired and weak and I hate it. Oh well, I guess I am human, huh? Well, I am off to veg out a bit and off to bed.
Hey all, today I am sick as a dog. I left work last night feeling awful. I was hot and cold while working my butt off. I probably over did it. Thank God, I had today off to recuperate, but I have a feeling this if I feel this bad after my short eye surgery. Yes, eye surgery. I went in for my eye exam and the doctor found a embedded body in my eye and it needs to be removed so that my vision does not get worse. So. . . There I be. Yuck! But anyway, if I feel like this tomorrow after that I will definitely have to call in sick. I never call in sick, so this will be the first, but I have to put my health first.
As far as the weight thing goes the first week of my New year went awesome!! I lost 6 pounds bringing me to 164lbs. So when my body get well I will keep up with the clean eating for next week’s weigh in on Thursday.
Well, I am off to take a bath and go to sleep. I hope that you all are doing better and staying warm.
Ahhh. It feels so good to be on track for the 3rd day!! I just finished my 30 minutes of Step aerobics with Cathe and 15 minutes of weights on my biceps and shoulders. Today I ate very well considering I went to lunch with my family at TGI Fridays. Guess what I ate there. Just a low calorie salad with chicken. I am so proud that I did not cave in and have a Jack Daniels Hamburger with fries like my hubby had. It sure looked and smell good, but not good for my thighs and waist.
I feel the water retention leaving and soon leaning will appear. Tomorrow I feel that i will take a day off from my workout and and just do 20-25 minutes of my elliptical before I go into work at noon. I am so glad that I decided to start now inside of waiting until after the new year. I feel that I have a had start on things and that I am making a good habit to carry into 2008.
Well, I am going to go veg out on the net and browse at things I would like to get for next year. My wishes are:
A new car or suv. What I am thinking is a Nissan Ultima or a Dodge Nitro. I am very torn because I already have a SUV and it would be nice to have a sleek and sporty sedan. My Montero Sport is a 2000 and it is starting to bit the dust.
A real Louis Vuitton handbag from Saks or Louis Vuitton Store. The bag I have in mind is the Monogram Canvas Beverly MM or Tivoli PM. They are really expensive, but hey a girl can dream and if it comes true I will be the first to post a pic ASAP!
A trip to Disney World with the family. Which is actually going to happened next summer/fall. I can’t wait!!

Yesterday was my first day back to eating clean, exercise, and drinking plenty of H20 and it was a challenge. I made it through the day with one cheat if you even count it a cheat. Late last night i was hungry so I had a cheese stick and a half of orange. So, I am proud. I only got in 30 minutes on the elliptical so before I head into work I will do 30 minutes of Tae bo amped, 15 minutes of the elliptical and 15 minutes of weights on my lower body. That area really needs the work because that is where I pack on the pounds first, the butt and thighs.
Today my body is feeling a bit better with getting back on track because prior I was feeling chunky and weighed down. I guess eating too much of a good thing can be bad too. Well, I am off to play with my son and workout these darn legs. I hope that you all have a great day today and I will chat later!
