We’re Back From Disney!! We Had A BLAST!Posted by: Natasha in What's Up With Natasha Today?, tags: Bodybuilding, fitness, nutrisystem, Walt Disney World Vacation, weight lossOMG! I can not believe how fast time went by while we were on our Walt Disney World vacation! We had such a great time there this week especially our son. He was in cloud nine the entire time we were there. We stayed at a Disney Resort called the All Star Sports resort. Which I have to say that the next time we go I will be staying at another resort like the Carri bean beach resort or the Grand Floridian. Why? Well a lot of youngsters of course and it was so loud! But anyway it did not ruin of trip through. We visited the Magic Kingdom where they celebrated Halloween at night and the kids got to go trick or treating and meet their favorite characters. I swear we were at Magic Kingdom until almost Midnight. Crazy huh? Here are some pics from there. Magic Kingdom:
Those are just the pics from Magic Kingdom. We also visited the Animal Kingdom, Epoct, and MGM Studios too. So, I will have a lot more to share so stay tuned in the next few days. Update: I added more to this newer slider show. More to come! Now, many may ask how did your diet go? Diet. . . What Diet? I was on vacation and I paid for it big time. Pre-vacation I weighed 175 and post vacation . . Drum roll please. . . .. 180!!! Okay I said it and now that I am back the vacation from my diet is over. I need to get off 20lbs for real! May goal is to have it off before christmas. So that gives me 2 months. I may get back on Nutrisystem or maybe try something different. I can do it myself, but I am a bit lazy on preparing my own food, so if I can skip that step I am HAPPY!! So, with that said I am detoxing starting tomorrow. Well, I better go and relax. I still need to go through more pics to share with you all and enjoy the rest of my vacation with my family. Have a great weekend! Update On My DadPosted by: Natasha in What's Up With Natasha Today?, tags: healthy living, nutrisystem, weight lossHey all! Thanks for your prayer regarding my dad. I spoke with him early yesterday morning and he is at home recovering. Late yesterday he went in for his MRI, so that the doctors can find a way to operate on his leg to clear his artery. I hope that they can find away, so that my dad can continue to do his walking like he enjoy and visit with family. Today I am meeting with a friend for lunch. You know I will be ordering a nice small salad so that I don’t run into the over eating thing again. No way! Then later I will visit with grandpa. Maybe he may keep him Friday and then this weekend we are off to the beach and fun for the weekend!! Well, I really better get breakfast started and my plan for exercise will be tae bo amped and 20-25 minutes on the elliptical today! It’s all most the weekend! Yey!! Nat- The day is coming to an end and I am proud to say that I did 2 of the three things I had plan to do today.
As far as the food I had a struggle with calories, but not too bad. So I will work on that tomorrow. I can’t believe how getting out of a routine for 2 weeks can make the body feel that it is out of shape. For real!! My legs felt like led poles, lol. Well, I am off to make sure that I recorded the biggest loser tonight so that I can watch it in the morning to chat with you all about. Have a great night Tags: weight loss, exercise Not much. I had a great weekend with friends and family maybe too much fun with dining out two days in a row, Thursday and Friday with burgers and Mexican food. So when Saturday came I knew it was time to eat clean again so my body would not become addicted to the salty food. Then Sunday came and I continued to eat great with an exception to a book club I attended to discuss the Ice Queen by Alice Hoffman. The food selection was not bad actually pretty healthy with asparagus wrapped with bacon, shrimp, bruchetta with olive oil, mozzarella cheese and cherry tomatoes, wine, and etc. I did eat good which I am proud of and I had a great time. The only thing I need to get back on is exercise and today will be my start off day for that. I think I will be doing Tae bo amped since I haven’t done that in a while and I can give my knees a rest from step aerobics I mainly accomplished last week. Have I exercised yet? I sure feel like I did. So, far I have been doing laundry, cleaning my kitchen out. It is a MESS!! I got the counter tops cleared off and they will get a thorough clean. Later I have to run to home depot. I can’t believe I am saying that, but I have to get some “L” brackets to hang up my son’s valance I made a months ago. After that we will head off to Michaels or hobby lobby so that I can work on a new center piece for the kitchen or dining room. We will see if I have enough energy to do everything, lol. Later on I will get ready to watch the biggest loser to see what will be the change this week. From what I remembered they may not be on team anymore? So, this will be interesting. Well, I better get back to working around this house and playing with my son. . Chat later tags: weight loss, I have to say last week was a great week. I got in the exercise I want and I am seeing the results in my cloths and scale. Today I hopped on and saw a good number and I can’t wait to keep progressing to my goal. I am also proud of myself because I ate healthy at work and instead of taking a break in the breakroom and sitting on my butt for 1 hour I decided to get up and go walking at a near by outdoor outlet mall since the weather was beautiful today. I believe the weather was almost 80 degrees here, so I had a blast with my brisk walk and window shopping at clothes and shoes. Later today after work I returned home to watch some of the red carpet events with the Oscars and then decided to complete my 30 minute workout with Jari’s DVD. I am tired as hell, but I feel good! I also feel good because the family order pizza hut and I did not eat one piece instead I ate my healthy choice entree. It was one of the new cafe steamers collection called Merlot beef. It was so yummy and the beef was ever so tender!! I will be buying that again!! In a bit I will get ready to curl up in the bed and read for a little. I am reading the Ice Queen by Alice Hoffman. It is a very interesting fictional book and it keeping me intrigued to read more and I better because the girls and I will be meeting to discuss this book this weekend. Yikes!! I better read FAST!!! Well, I am off to relax. Good night What am I up to this week? So far this is the best week that I am really focused moving toward the 160 mark before the end of March. So far I have worked out 3 days this week and I will add in workouts for today and Saturday to keep up the great work. May plan for today is to:
I am so glad there is not any celebrating of the sort with food right now because I need this time to get my mind set on eating healthy. So when the time does come for a celebrations like Easter I will be in the right mindset to eat and enjoy but with portion control too. Well I am off. By the way, did I tell you all I started to author another blog? I love fashion and that is my background. I have a degree and in my twenties I worked in the industry for a well before having our son and all. I miss it so much, not the craziness and fast pace from the industry, but being immersed in whats going on and the in’s and out’s of fashion. The name of the blog is called fashioniche.com. There I will talk about the latest in fashion trends, news from the runway, beauty tips, designer looks for less and celebrity fashions too. Feel Free to stop by and say hi!! If it is to eat healthy for 7 days straight to start a good habit do it!! Maybe a walk in the neighborhood for 20 minutes, do it!! So I decided to shower and go to bed. Well when I woke up this morning I was coughing up a lung and now my chest and joints ache. Oh MAN!! To make matter worse I have to go into work tonight and I am praying I don’t have that many clients to work with. I may even try to come home a bit early if business is slow. I was sick in January and I don’t want to get sick before Valentine’s Day!! Damn!! Sorry
To make sure I am not experiencing seasonal allergies again and I also popping some meds to play it safe too. Man, it funny how life works. When you mind is ready to work something gets in the way. I guess that how it work. Well, I better make myself look somewhat decent for work. I hope that all of you are doing well and I will chat later. Hi all, its Tuesday and I am off from work and ready to put is a good days worth of workouts. My plan after I return from the mall with my son (You know he is so ready to play at the inflatable playland, so I better make this quick, hee hee Anyway, I have been doing well and maintaining my loss I just need to move forward to 160. If babysitting plans don’t fall through we will be going out to a quiet dinner together and I really need to watch what I eat and then go to the main event and have fun bowling!! Bowling is a great way to burn off some of the dinner that i will be eating.
