Hey everyone! I can believe it has been a whole week since I have posted to my blog here. Shame on me! Sorry about that you all. I will try to post more often here. I have been just so excited about my beauty blog, which I am super passionate about, http://beautychameleon.com. There you can get makeup, beauty and even step by step tutorials on color application there, so stop by say hi and have fun!

Anyway, it is week 4 and I have to say it was great I am down 1 pound which brings me back to 180 Again, lol, but that’s okay I am working on that for sure. Check out the video for the full update and I will be back to chat soon!

Hi my getting fit and healthy friends out there! How was your Easter holiday? Did you all have a great time this past weekend? I know I had fun with friends and family and watching our son hunt vigorously for Easter eggs filled with lots of candy. Did I say candy? I said it and ate way too much of it too. Along with all of the Easter fixin’s too. Needless to say, I did not lose anything this past because I am retaining water like crazy, but I will not let that get me down at all. It is just temporary.

How did you do this past week. Did you have better news to report? If so please free, if not still do. Maybe we can work things out and have a plan of action for next week, for real! Anyway check out my video to get the full story and plan of action for next week.

411ftshjwnl_sl160_Update: I just finished my 35 minutes of Tae bo!!! I can not believe that I made it through the entire workout! I am tired as hell and I know that I will be sore as hell tomorrow too, but that is okay. It is for a good cause. Okay, this week is about changing my bad choices and making good choices. What is your goal for weight loss this week? Are you trying to lose weight? If so, join me here and via youtube every Tuesday, for get fit Tuesday and we can share our progress together. As you know I am working on losing 20 pounds before June 1st. I used to weight 230lbs and I am at 182 and no do want to be back at that high weight ever!

Next week, I will share my workout routine with you, what I am eating, and maybe some words of inspiration too. I hope that you enjoy this VLOG and I will chat with you next week. My son will be home form school and that means it is time to hit the grocery store.

So what’s on my list?

  • Fresh Fruits and Veggies to accompany my entrees
  • Salads
  • Meats: chicken, fish, and ground turkey
  • Kashi Granola bars: These are great quick snacks to eat between dinner
  • Slim fast shakes: These a nice to have with a fruit in the morning when you got up too late and don’t have time to prepare your breakfast or lunch. (I only use this as a meal replace for 1 or 2 meals because you do need a balance source of nutrition from real foods too)
  • Lots of water and crystal light mixers)
  • whole wheat bread
  • Low sodium soups
  • eggs, canadion bacon
  • oat meal
  • other snack items 100 calorie pack, jello, weight watcher ice cream, skinny cow ice cream sandwiches.

My basic meal plan:

  • Meal 1: eggs, canadian bacon, and strawberries w/ water
  • Meal 2: salad with soup
  • Meal3: Kashi granola bar and banana
  • Meal 4: Grilled 4oz chicken, veggies, and salad or fruit
  • Meal5: 100 calories pack or weight watchers dessert, or jello. (this can vary because there are so many options.

I included my basic meal to show you thar you can do this own your own if you can not afford to join awesome weight loss plans like Nutrisystem and such. If you have any questions by all means just ask.

I can’t believe it is almost friday!! It is thursday and I promised myself that I would exercise 3 days a week to get back in shape, right? Well, this week I haven’t worked out at all! What is wrong with me? I know. . . I am being so l.a.z.y.

I can’t seem to motivate myself this week, but I guess if I want to get past 177lbs I must get movin huh? Like right now my son is in school and I could totally workout, but I just want to sleep or sit in front of the computer and work. I think it is time to dedicate back that time to myself with exercises I used to do it. I must be experiencing a mental block or something, lol.

I am off from work today, so I think I am going to make a date with my workout dvd and the bowflex. A girl needs to firm up. Maybe my problem is that I need to create a new fun and exciting workout routine to get me back into the swing of  things. Any of you exercise and fitness gurus have any suggestions? I sure would love to do something different. Maybe you have a favorite DVD that you like to workout to. Let me know, please :)

Anyway, I just had to check in and say hey, but my stomach is hungry. I am gonna fix me something to eat and I will chat later. Please send me some butt kicks to me, so that I can kick myself into working out.

Hello my friends! It has been a while since I posted something about myself, huh? Well as you can see in my side bar I have been basically maintaining my weight loss at this point. 177 is a nice number, but I still need to get down to 160lbs. I finally feel that is a great weight for me to be at. I am not too skinny and I also look nice and toned at that weight too. So, with summer being just right around the corner I have got to started now and not stop until I am at my goal and then I will work on maintaining it long term.

Some of you may ask are you going to go back on NS and the answer is, no. I am going to apply the tools that I learned from being on NS and cook the foods myself or purchase my favorite lean cuisines. I will also start working out 3 days a week and then increase it to 4-5 days. I don’t want to over do it and be completely wiped out for the day since I am working too. I also really need to practice getting to bed earlier at night so that I can be very rested the next instead of being tired all the time. Lately, I have been staying up until 2am and I found out that my mind and body does not like that all all. How about you all? Do you feel that way sometimes?

21xp39vnbpl_sl160_Today was the first day I really got some exercise in and what I did was so much fun, I forgot how much I liked Chrisi Taylor’s StepSational DVD. This DVD has fun music from the 70’s and late 90’s so it was fun to step too and relearn the moves again. If you like to step this would be a fun one in my opinion to try. I got me movin’ and I have to laugh because when I was in my best shape I could workout with my step raisers double stacked without getting winded okay, but today being so out of shape I worked with a single raiser at a lower impact and I was so winded. I was huffing and puffing hard and my hubby said that it sounded like I was having sex without him, lol.

So, that told me I that I really need to get into shape. hee hee :) .

Oh yeah, I have to share that I started a fashion/beauty blog at www.fashioniche.com over a year ago and lately I have been creating videos that includes eyeshadow tutorials to inspire people on creating fun looks for going out and stuff like that. Check it out and please rate the videos too. This will let me know if I need to improve or get more ideas and such.

Well, I better go for now. My little one will be home from school in a bit and then I will have to get ready to work tonight too.

OMG! I can not believe how fast time went by while we were on our Walt Disney World vacation! We had such a great time there this week especially our son. He was in cloud nine the entire time we were there. We stayed at a Disney Resort called the All Star Sports resort. Which I have to say that the next time we go I will be staying at another resort like the Carri bean beach resort or the Grand Floridian. Why? Well a lot of youngsters of course and it was so loud! But anyway it did not ruin of trip through. We visited the Magic Kingdom where they celebrated Halloween at night and the kids got to go trick or treating and meet their favorite characters. I swear we were at Magic Kingdom until almost Midnight. Crazy huh? Here are some pics from there.

Those are just the pics from Magic Kingdom. We also visited the Animal Kingdom, Epoct, and MGM Studios too. So, I will have a lot more to share so stay tuned in the next few days.

Now, many may ask how did your diet go? Diet. . . What Diet? I was on vacation and I paid for it big time. Pre-vacation I weighed 175 and post vacation . . Drum roll please. . . .. 180!!! Okay I said it and now that I am back the vacation from my diet is over. I need to get off 20lbs for real! May goal is to have it off before christmas. So that gives me 2 months. I may get back on Nutrisystem or maybe try something different. I can do it myself, but I am a bit lazy on preparing my own food, so if I can skip that step I am HAPPY!! So, with that said I am detoxing starting tomorrow.

Well, I better go and relax. I still need to go through more pics to share with you all and enjoy the rest of my vacation with my family. Have a great weekend!

Hey all! Thanks for your prayer regarding my dad. I spoke with him early yesterday morning and he is at home recovering. Late yesterday he went in for his MRI, so that the doctors can find a way to operate on his leg to clear his artery. I hope that they can find away, so that my dad can continue to do his walking like he enjoy and visit with family.

Today I am meeting with a friend for lunch. You know I will be ordering a nice small salad so that I don’t run into the over eating thing again. No way! Then later I will visit with grandpa. Maybe he may keep him Friday and then this weekend we are off to the beach and fun for the weekend!! Well, I really better get breakfast started and my plan for exercise will be tae bo amped and 20-25 minutes on the elliptical today!

It’s all most the weekend! Yey!!
