Did you all get a chance to check out the new episode of the biggest loser last night? This show was more interesting than last week. The couple were now broken up into new teams and heres the catch the trainers Jillian and Bob had to choose the teams, however you know there was a challenge involved. The trainers and the teams were standing by a set of escalators and the trainers actually had to do the challenge which was to go up and down the escalator 10 times and the trainer the completed the 10 rounds first had the advantage to chose their teams.
As a result, Bob won and he chose very wisely almost to his advantage. Bob had chosen the orange, black, and gray teams. The “heavy weights”. This brought Jillian to tears because she has connected so deeply to some of the people Bob had chosen. Jillian ended up with the yellow, blue, and purple. Some people where upset with Bob’s decision, mainly the original blue team (Brittney), because at the beginning of the season the teams chose their trainers and they chose him, however this time around Bob did not chose them. That had to hurt.
Now, after all of this the teams still had to do the challenge of going on the elevator and the team with the last team member standing the entire team won $10K!! The blue team won, but man I have to give it to Brittney for being the last black team hanging in there for over 20 minutes!! You are fierce!!
later the other temptation challenge was drinking the sodas and no one participated. WOW!! I was amazed. The weight in were awesome for the new blue team, but when the black team weighed in the numbers wasn’t so well, so they go up for elimination and as a result Jenn goes home.
Next week I am sure Jillian is going to kick the hell out of her new black team and correct their food issues. Well, until next time I will chat later

Did you watch the show? Holy cow!! The game play again. Okay, at end of the elimination last week this week the teams had to decided on another team they would eliminate and they were given an hour to decided. I couldn’t believe it at first, they were going to send another time home after last week? After all of the deciding the teams decided it would be the yellow team. They were shocked and they thought that they were going home too, but at the end they did not. However, what ended up happening is that all the teams were in battle with the yellow team.
They had a challenge in which the yellow team won and as a result they won a chance to receive letters from home however they decided to give the prize to the other team members. I thought that was a nice gesture, but it was all about playing the game.
To make a story short at the weigh in the yellow team had to lose the most percentage of weight loss compared to the other teams and their goal was to eliminate the black team. So they were smoozing with the other team members to through the weigh in (purple and orange team) with water gain in order to eliminate the black team. However, they tables were turned because the team with the highest percentage of weight loss won immunity too, and guess who won immunity? They black team.
As a result, this put the yellow team in a hard situation to vote of a team. It was said because they ended up choosing Bette-Sue and Ali (pink team). I was kind of upset because I was attached to them too and they worked there butts off and play the game fair. They were pist too and voiced how this wasn’t right and that they knew what was going on. I hate when people do this and you know bob knew what was going on and will be ready to kick some but next week for sure. Well, I am out for know. Need to get working out myself.

Well, did you think it was going to happened this week? What do I mean, well, Neill and Amanda getting elliminated. I knew if they were below the yellow line it was going to happened this week and can you blame the unanamous vote? I felt sorry for Amanda she worked her butt off during her time at the ranch however her spouse did not but the same effort. As a result, this made the other competitors feel that he did not want to be there.
Did you see when Neill and Amanda went to go talk with the team before elimination time and how Amanda did most of the talking. Come on Neill! You wife wants it so bad and you could not do or say much of anything and to top that off the sarcastic remark he made before the voting and how he couldn’t pull off the tears like his wife did. Oh may Gosh!! If I was his wife I would have slapped him, lol. But anyway they are off and Amanda and suprisingly Neil have been working to keep losing weight and it will be interesting to see how they do at the finally.
Other than that I am still in love with Bette-Sue and her daughter what an awesome relationship they are developing on the show. Bette-Sue works so hard and she does it all for her daughter, but at the same time she is doing it for herself and that is the name of this game. If you are looking to lose weight do it for yourself first. The reason why I say that is because you can do it to fit in your favorite jeans or to impress others, but that will so fade along with the desire to lose the weight in the long run.
Can’t wait till next week!!

Did you all see the biggest loser couples show late night? Is it just me or did the show kind of dragged a little. I was kind of bored watching it. The only part that got to me is after the challenge and certain people got a chance to call home and talk to their loved ones. I was a complete emotional mess. I could totally feel what they were feeling and would feel the same way.
The only thing that got me a little irritated was at the weigh ins. The people was getting so upset about the low numbers they were seeing at the weigh in, but come on. After losing the big numbers last week the body will not pull off the same results this week. I would be so proud of myself with losing a pound or 2. Wouldn’t you?
Oh well. I guess until next time we will see what happened.

Did you all see the show last night? Wow what a lot of interesting and inspiring people on this season’s show. Which team or person did you start to connect with already? For me I loved Betty Sue!! I love her spunk and determination! How many people her age do you come across with that type of attitude? The are very few.
How about those weigh ins? Oh may gosh!! everyone lost 10lbs or more that night. Holy cow!! Except for. . Was it Jenny from the green team that lost 7lbs? Now seven pounds is still something to be proud of, but dang. She was so hard on her dad and he ended up losing 19 pounds!! Go gramps!!!
It is interesting to me that they did not use Kim Lyons as a trainer during this new season. Did they let her go? Or will she return in the fall? Because the only trainers during this season is Bob and Jillian. Both trainers are amazing, but what about Kim? Oh well. I guess we will see. Until next week!

Hey everyone! If you did not get enough of the biggest loser this season guess what? The couples show will be airing tonight 7:00pm CT. I can’t wait to watch as I get ready to lean out myself for this summer. If you are looking to lose some weight and need some inspiration to push you along the way watch this season of the biggest loser. Also if you are looking to try some of the workouts that they do on the show check out the Biggest Loser 2 (Full Frame) DVDs.
I have this one here which is Biggest Loser: The Workout, The (Full Frame) and love them because they have a mix of cardio workouts and strength training on them. Bob is very motivating and then contestants from the show are on there as well. Tonight before the show I will be working out to this one. I will not be doing the cardio portion only the strength training portion. Did I mention that on this dvd there is an option to customize the workouts that you want to do? It’s great!! You can even tailor a 6 week program for yourself too.
Well, I am off for now. . .

Wow!! What a finale!! I was so impressed with all of the transformations. I bet that Bob, Kim and Jillian was so proud of their teams because they all look fabulous! Did you see Neil’s and Jim weigh in? Neil lost 221 pounds, however the percent to weight is what had him lose to Jim. Jim looked amazing too with is 186lb loss which help him take home the $100k prize.
Then the final four came to the stage. Holy cow they all again looked great, but the person I was most intrigued with was Julie’s loss. She looked hot!! She look so beautiful and I bet she will not be afraid to got to her hubby’s work parties ever again. The outfit that she was in I loved so much!! I want one just like it. I have to say she now looked her age. She is 34 right? Well, during the show I thought she was 40 years of age. Wow, it is awesome what losing weight can do to a person appearance. It can literally take years off.
But at the end Bill, the other twin, won the $250k prize with his amazing weight loss. I kind of knew that the twins would win and you can’t be mad at them at all. They played the game fair and with integrity and that what it is all about.

I guess I saw this coming and can’t be too upset, but Neil from the blue team goes home. Neil had a phenomenal weight loss today of 10 pounds, but the percentage of weight loss kept him from remaining. Bummer for him, but many sees it as karma kicking him pack in the butt from the games he played earlier in the season. Do you all think he deserved to go? I thought it would have been some good competition with him in, but that’s just my opinion. Did you all see the after scene of him after leaving the show? Wow!! 153 pounds, that is simply amazing. Just think if people put in half the effort of what these contestants go though on the show where they would be?
Well ya’ll the final four belongs to the black team and you can’t help to be happy for them. They were the people that wasn’t voted to be on the blue and red team and now they are the final people remaining that’s cool!! I bet that has to make Jillian, the black team’s trainer, feel very confident in her work and proud!
Congrats to:
- Bill
- Hollie
- Isebau
- Julie
I can’t wait till next week for the finale. I am so excited to see everyone loss from the people who where eliminated to the final four!! Who do you think will win? Do you think since the show is going by percent of weight loss that one of the women will win the title of the biggest loser for the first time? It would be nice to see that happened. Well I am off to look for some yummy recipes to try and maybe post some that I have already tried too!
Until next week!!

Well, I am over half way through my challenge and only lost 1 pound. It’s hard sometimes when you have the best intentions. The Holidays rolls around and there is always something yummy to eat and I fall for it most of the time. Why is that? I don’t know? I guess I do I love the taste of different food!! The only saving grace for me is the cardio workouts I do to keep that 1 pound of (Right now I am 164 and I want to be 160, and then 155) 4 pounds is not hard I done it before! But what is the deal here? I am a SLACKER!!! Today I am going to clean my mind and negative thoughts and continue to my goal for the new year. I have received my new Oxyegen Mag and Shape too. So I will get some new workouts and inspiration going here.
I just returned from the grocery store and my fridge is again filled healthy choices and healthy snacks too. I got my menu planned and now I need to get my body ready for some good cardio. What am I eating today? Well…
- Meal 1: Cheerios (no fruit. I was out of fruit)
- Meal 2: 1 slice of cheese pizza and salad
- Meal 3: orange and string cheese
- Meal 4: Protein Shake
- Meal 5: trail mix
As far as my workouts? Just thinking about it makes me tired. I guess I didn’t sleep so maybe I will nap when my son does. Yeah right! But anyway I will:
- Continue strength training my upper body. Biceps curls and hammer curls, butterflies, bench press and the Arnold press too. Oh yeah, Abs!
- Cardio… cardio.. CARDIO!! Ugh.. But I will get it done. 30 minutes of step aerobics and 10-15 minutes on the elliptical I got last Friday!!
Then later I will get ready to watch the biggest loser. Who do you think is going home today? Will it be another blue team member or a black team member? Even though Neil was acting silly at the beginning of the season I hope he stays!! It’s time for a black team member to stay. What do you think?
Chat later

Was it just me or was today’s show just okay? I just finished watching it because I had to drop off our son to grandpa’s for the night. I was so glad I could fast forward through certain parts. The part of the show that got to me was when Kim was watching the video left by Bryan, the former red team member that was eliminated last week. It was emotional and Kim did change his life forever and that is what I liked about the show. The other thing that was interest in that the black team is getting a little big headed having the majority vote now. I guess that is the way it goes, but dang!
I was shocked that they voted Nicole off because this week she wasn’t the biggest threat. You know? But the black team sticks together and I guess that’s what a team member should do. What do you think about that? I am just praying that Neil remains to be in the final four. We have got to see a blue team member left. Who do you think will be in the final four? My thoughts are:
- Neil
- Bill
- Hollie
- Isabeau
Anyway we will see next week.
