Today was a great day for getting back to good ole clean healthy eating, lifting, and cardio. I feel so much better just after today Besides the fact that I was going to the bathroom non stop. It must be all of the water I was retaining. Yey!! Today my son was just an angel we played together and I was working with him with his writing and counting. After that he wanted to play in his playroom, so I was like okay… and I went ahead and did 20 minutes of cardio. I did step aerobics and I even increased the intensity of my workout and raised up my riser to the max. Man, was I breathing hard, but awesome workout!
Then a bit later we were watching Aladdin in our bedroom and half way into the movie I decided that since the bowflex was looking at me I would work out my upper body. I ended up doing 30 minutes!! I even added in some free weights too. I am now lifting the 10lbs now! That’s good progress for me I was lifting 5lbs weights for my biceps, triceps, and shoulder workouts. Yahoo! Maybe next month I will be lifting so 15’s. hee hee
My meal plan was awesome today and I stuck to it 100%. I ate:

  1. Meal 1: protein Shake
  2. Meal 2: eggs, ham, and orange
  3. Meal 3: banana & string cheese
  4. Meal 4: Tuna steak & green beans
  5. Meal 5: snack trail mix

I also got in 64 ounces of water too!! So today I can smile and go to bed ready for tomorrow. I am off from workout so, I am going to do tae bo and workout my lower body. Then later I will watch the biggest loser!! I wonder what will happened this week? Well, I better go to bed now.

chat later

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Hey everyone it is almost Friday!! Yey!! I can’t believe it ya’ll, but I actually exercised for 30 minutes, I ate healthy and drank my water today. I am finally feeling 90% better than I did earlier this week, thank God! I guess my allergy medicine must have finally kicked in and in turn is relieving my lethargic feeling I had the past week. If I feel like this when I get home I will exercise to my step aerobics and lift weights too. Yip, Yip!! How are you feeling today? Did you do something that just makes you jump for joy? Maybe you lose 2 pounds this week or you finally fit into your favorite jeans. Talk to me!!

Well, tomorrow our little boy is going back to school. He did not go on Wednesday because he was not feeling well and today he was so happy and back to himself now. I just pray he does not throw a tantrum when I drop him off before I go to work. I would just go nuts! I even bride him and told him that if he was good at school daddy will take him to McDonald’s for dinner. I am bad, huh? I gotta try something. How long do you think it will take for him to adjust to going to school 3 days a week. Any experienced moms out there with any advice? I would love it all. I am off for the evening now. I got to watch the Bare Essentials training video tonight before I go to work. The product is really cool!! The product is so pure you can sleep in it. I sound like the infomercial huh? Well I’ll chat later.

Okay everyone,

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketI just had to report this to you today, that after all of my hard work this summer I stepped on the scale and is read 160 pounds!!! YAHOOOO!! I am finally back to my goal weight again after all of my Thanksgiving, Christmas and New years splurges. Y’all during that time span I almost gained 20 pounds! I am not kidding, however, I learned somethings from the experience too! If you want to keep the weight off you must first continue your exercise no matter what. NO MATTER WHAT!! Second, if you are going to splurge and enjoy yourself you will have to increase your workouts to account for the extra calories that is being consumed. Just think the more calories you put in your mouth the more you will have to burn to keep your weight under control. So, you see these things I did not do at all and that is how the weight sneaked on me so fast over that time span.

So, after the holidays I got my plan in order to work it off. You may say what inspired me to get on track? Well, when I decided to try on some of my summer clothes that are a size 8’s and 10’s and they were too tight to put over my butt!! I was like oh no!! I am not buying bigger sized clothes! No WAY, No HOW!! hee hee!! It took sometime between splurges and all but I managed my way back to the size that I am comfortable with which is now a size 6/8. I have never worn a size 6 before and I believe that is due to the weight training that I have decided to incorporate this year. Fitness experts say that muscle burns more fat which caused me to lose more inches than last year this time. So I love that. The only reason why I know that I can now wear a size 6!!! I went shopping this past Saturday for so new clothes for my new job and I decided, hummmm…. Lets see how the size 6 feels since the size 8 dress slacks were a bit loose. I but them on and bam!!! They fit!! I’ll be damn, They fit!! I was sooo excited. As a result, I will continue to weight train because now my brain knows it works!
So now you may be thinking, how will you avoid this problem this year during the holidays? Well again, I will do what I said above which is to continue working out, but I have also given myself a new goal for myself. Which is to loss an addition 5-10 that will have my weight at 150-155. Why? So that I will have some wiggle room for the holidays and it is a suggested weight from my Doctor. She suggested to stay in this area because it will keep my BMI in the right place of I believe 22-23?? I forget. So here I go. I am on the mission to reach this goal before thanksgiving, and I will also work on toning my muscles too.

Well, I better go for now. I have to end in for my first day! Wish me luck :)

Went Shopping & I now I have sooo much fun doing it even after 1 year and 3 months of maintaining my weight. June 29,2007 at 163 pounds!!!

Hey all, I just had to post some recent pics of me!! I am so enjoying the benefits of losing weight with Nutrisystem. This is my second summer enjoying wearing size 8 clothing and shopping at any store I want to know. I love clothes so much now. I used to be a person that would just shop for shoes and make-up because they would fit fine, but when it came to shopping for clothes I hated it. I went shopping at Kohls department store, Wet Seal, and Stein mart and had a blast and can’t wait to do it again, but DH will give me an evil look if I go shopping too soon. lol

Soon, if I am confident enough I my post a picture of me in my bikini for the first time ever in my life. I have never worn one and I will now!! keep your fingers crossed that I look okay in one.

Night night,

Natasha:)

Hey everyone,

I can’t believe it!!!! But after weeks of plateauing I finally broke it. Today I got on the scale and it showed 164!! WOW!! I haven’t seen that number since before last thanksgiving you guys and now I am really happy to see it again. Why, one being that my clothes fit much better now. My size 8 and 10’s were very tight and it got so bad I had to buy a size 12, so I knew it was time to get back on focus again. The second reason the summer time. Summer is just around the corner and this summer I am wearing a bikini!! I have never worn one before ever, so I will this time around. Here is are some pics. I found this reversable one at Kohls department store. I love that place.

My bikini From Kohls

The reverse side

What do you think of the bikini? I hope that I will look okay it. If I am brave enough I may post the pics once I reach my goal of 160. Or, I may wait until I reach my ultimate bikini goal of 150-155. We will see how I look then.

Well, today I am having fun celebrating Father’s Day with my Hubby and son. He had a wonderful breakfast and surprise DH with gifts. Now we are just haning around the house until it is time for me to leave for workout tonight until 8:30pm. I am now working a Part time job at a call center for Sears Roebuck and Company. It is so much fun!! But before I leave I will most likely do 20 minutes of upper body weight lifting on DH’s bowflex and then get ready to get Arman ready for his nap. If he takes on.

It stormed this morning around 5:50AM and my little boy ran into our bedroom scared. So he ended up sleeping with DH and I until 8:30AM. Why are littles such wild sleepers. He gave DH plenty of room to sleep and man it seem like he was trying to leave me with very little space to sleep. I almost fell out the bed. lol.  I couldn’t sleep much because I was so hoping and praying that my scale would reward me for my hard work this week and it did.

Well, I better go for now. I need to finish somethings before heading to work. I hope everyone is working on a plan to have successful weight loss this week.

Good luck,

Natasha :)

I have been trying to get back to my goal since christmas ya’ll. I remember weighing almost 178 pounds after thanksgiving. Yikes!! So I got my butt back in gear right away before I got out of control. Slowly I got back on track eating healthy and watching my portions. I have to admit even us success stories on Nutrisystem have to watch our weight too!! The part that is challenging is the maintainence part. Learning to eat food and watching the portions. Also keeping the exercise routine going after the weight loss. You needed to exercise to lose the weight and you will need it to maintain the weight loss too. Once you learn that you can enjoy life and eating foods with friends and family without stressing.

Well today I am soooooo excited because I got on the scale and it read 166 pounds!!! I am excited my hard work is paying off these past few weeks of true dedication. That means I only have 6 pounds to go and I am happy!! I joined this challenge with some of my fellow Nutrisystem members. It’s called the “bikini baring Challenge”. It’s a way to motivate people to lose some weight by July 21st. And on that day everyone in the challenge must take pictures of themselves in the bikini they have purchased. I am excited about this challenge that I may challenge myself to lose an extra 5 pounds by July 21st. I even bought a bikini to keep myself motivated to!

I can’t wait to wear it!! I could probably wear it now, but when I get the extra 6 pounds of plus the extra 5 the bikini will look AWESOME!!! Well, everyone I am off for today, but if you are looking to get in that awesome bikini this summer and have a few pounds you want to lose you should seriously click on the banner below and start Nutrisystem today! Later today or tomorrow I will be posting more about Nutrisystem and why I liked it soooo much. Until then enjoy the rest of your weekend.

WOW!!! I must stay. I guess I must tell you all that after the New Year NutriSystem and Good Housekeeping Magazine invited me to New York for a photo shoot and a weight loss interview. To my surprize my story would be included in Good Housekeeping’s April issue this year!!! My mouth just hit the floor!!! So, back in January they flew me out to New York, put me in the Rennasaince Hotel that was located right on Time Square!!! My room was awesome because when I opened up the window I was looking at the action there. This was so cool to me because I gal has not been to New York. I saw all of the shops and got a chance to meet with a friend that had moved out there last year and had a blast of a time.

I felt like a celebrity!! I got my nails and hair done and tried on lots of clothes during the photo shoot. I also felt honored to be apart of this article because maybe my story maybe something to motivate someone else who is struggling with their weight like I did and still do from time to time. Here are the pics from the Magazine. To get the full story check out your newsstand today.  My story is on pages 161 and 163.

I am the one in the pink cardigan set!!! I still can not believe this you all. I will say this again, who would have imagined in a million years joining a weightloss program, losing the weight, and results of this?? Wow!!
So if you are thinking about losing weight with Nutrisystem do it. It worked for me!!!

I still can’t believe this is me. I remeber starting this journey back in September 14, 2005 and couldn’t imagine in a million years that I would come this far!! But I did with all of the ups and down this was well worth it thanks for Nutrisystem. The picture of me above are kind of special to me because in May of 2006 I entered them in NS’s “The Great Weight off Contest” in hopes of winning on of the following prizes:
  1. $10,000
  2. $1,000
  3. $500
  4. digital scale
  5. digital scale

This contest from my knowledge had a record breaking amount off entries and to make a long story short I ended up place 2nd place and $1000!! Isn’t that AWESOME!!! My DH was so sweet and left me use every single penny to purchase a new wardrobe. I guess he felt bad that all of my clothes look like bags on me. I love him!!! But if NS has another contest like I urge you to enter because you will never know where that opportunity can take you.

Before I leave for the evening I also wanted to share some other photos of me and my transformation. I found some fat ones (I really don’t like them, but here they are.)

Enjoy,

Natasha (nhop1976)
