Okay, I hopped on the scale this morning and to my surprise I saw 169.5lbs!! I was like huh? This can’t be real. So I stepped on it again, and again and saw the same number. So, I am jumping for joy!! Hard work pays off and I will be working on maintaining that number and move forward to 160lbs this summer!! Yay!! Bye bye 170’s!!

Okay, I think I set the record on how much weight one can gain back in two days. I started this holiday weekend at 170.5 and now today I weight 175. What the #@*@*/?????? We had house parties to go to and family fun this weekend and I think I lost myself a little too much, ya think? I really need some cyber picks in the you know what. I feel like stay puff marshmallow man today with a serious food hang over.
So what’s my cure. Exercise, clean eating and lots and lots of water. I am sure much of the weight gain is water so I will not get myself mad, but dang it! I was so close to my first goal that I could taste it and now I have to rework my plan again. So if any of you all out there trying to lose weight don’t follow my bad example this past weekend. It’s tough seeing the results and then let one or two bad decisions can ruin the week of hard exercise and healthy eating.
I just returned form the grocery store and I got all of my meals ready for the rest of the week. Tomorrow, will be detox day!! Boy will I be a cranky woman for a bit, but I got to get back fast!! Well, I am off to get some sleep. I hope that you all are dong better than I am and I will chat later.

Today I am feeling alright! The weather is beautiful here in Austin, TX. I woke up a little groggy, but I manage to get up and play with my son, cook breakfast, and was ready to read to the park to play before the fun trip to the grocery store.
My son and I had a great time running around and climbing up ladders and pretending to be firemen on each playscapes. I can’t believe how fast he is growing already. He is 4 1/2 years old and here are his stats:
- height: 4 feet
- weight: 58lbs (lean and mean, lol) He’s says he’s the Hulk. ha ha
- shoe size: 1
- And Very Cute, hee hee

we played at the park for an hour and decided to go to our local store and stock up on healthy choices for us all for the week. I am so proud of myself because I decided to go green and purchase the reusable grocery bags at H-E-B. My son loves them because they are the same color as the incredible hulk and I love them because I don’t have to worry about them darn plastic bags anymore!
Well, anyway. . . You all are probably wanting to know my progress. Well, I finally decided to hop on my dreadful scale and I weight 170.5! Which is great!! I am a 1/2 closer to my goal and soon I will be sporting my Michael Kors sunglasses. Yeah!!
My training and meal plan for today will be:
- Meal1: protein shake and banana
- Meal2: grilled chicken with salad
- Meal3: yogurt and banana
- Meal4: have to work tonight so lean cuisine chicken fettuccine and green beans
- Meal5: protein bar
- Training: 40 minutes of step aerobics and 10 minutes abs
How are you all doing today? Are you where you want to be? Are you continuing to make the effort to get where you want to be? I hope so because the hard work and dedication does pay off in the long run and for pete sake summer time is almost here!! Let;s get lean and sexy together!! Chat later! it’s lunch time. . . Must feed child, lol.

So far this weight thing is like an emotional roller coaster. One week I am doing just fine. Then week 2 I lose my mind. Either not training enough or not eating the right portion of food. But here is my progress so far:
- March 3oth: 172
- April 6th: 171 (-1)
- April 13th: 173 (+2) not enough working out.
- April 20th: 171.5 (-1.5) Getting back on track
- April 27th: haven’t checked yet hopefully 170!!! Why? So that I can get my first darn reward. Michael Kors sunglasses!
So, what am I going to do about that. STOP LATE NIGHT SNACKING!!! Today was my day off from working out but tomorrow it is ON!! I will be doing 25 minutes of cardio on the elliptical and 45minutes of my fav, Jari Love “get ripped 1000″!
Well, I am out for now. Just got home from work and would like to relax now, chat with DH, and read my new book of the month called “the memory keepers daughter”.

As I mention before the scale and I have been in cahoots since Easter Sunday’s splurges and post Easter fun too. What does it take to get the mind serious enough to get in shape? I guess when the size 8 are fitting so tight to the point you have to wear 10’s, right? Well that is where I am currently at and I don’t want to be there anymore. I refuse to buy bigger sized clothes, I absolutely will not. I will only buy 8’s and 10’s for this summer so that means on thing. Get to work!! So far my progress post Easter has been(Pre Weigh in Numbers were at 172lbs:
- Week1 (March 30th): -1 (171)
- Week 2(April 6th): 0 (171) I found the reason why I had no lost is due to late night snacking. So this week I am hoping to see big improvement because I purchased so gum to chew on when I get in the snacky mode. Usually I am not hungry I just want something to chew or crunch on. So the gum or carrots will be a tremendous help.
My new goals or rewards will be in order to keep myself on track and motivated are:
- 170lbs: Purchase a pair of Michael Kors sunglasses, or cheaper the ones from his outlet store for $60. Hee hee
- 165lbs: Purchase a New Eyeshadow pallet by Nars.
- 160lbs: Purchase a workout suit from BeBe Sport. What do you think of this outfit?
- 155lbs: A sports armband to hold my Ipod.
- 150lbs: New workout shoes by Nike.
So, those are my incentive goals. Many people usually ask me what keeps me motivated to maintain or lose, well here you go! Also I love wear the small clothing and the way I look in them. I also love the look my husband gives me too.
So what are your goals for this summer? I would love to know? Did you gain a bit during the winter months and are ready to reveal your spring/summer bods? Let me know and we can keep each other focused. Well, I am off to stretch and do 25 minutes of cardio today on my elliptical and workout my abs. Yesterday I did 30 minutes of steps and 20 minutes of weights and I am sore so I will keep the cal intake low and keep cardio low impact too.
have a great day
