It is that time of the year again and black Friday is coming very soon! As a matter of fact it will be here in 7 days!! Instead of waiting in long lines at the stores this year let your fingers do the shopping from home and find something really special for your little ones. I came across this really interesting site that offers Personalized Gifts for Children including their most popular gift which is their “My Special Christmas Adventure” book. This personalized story book is where a child is taken on a magical journey with Santa Claus. I thought that was so cute, but I am primarly more interested in the personalized ornaments that can make for you and your closet friends and family. They also have many other personalized gifts for Christmas including Disney, Seasame Street and lots of decorations for the whole family. Check out this cute site and tell me what you think of it?

Happy Halidays!

I just had to share!! We had a blast last night trick or treating. Arman was so cute!! He would run to each door and knock and say TRICK or TREAT!!! Everyone thought he was so cute dressed as batman. We even ran into another little girl in the neighborhood who dressed as batgirl, so we had to take a picture of them two together. I did not dress up this year. I should have but most likely next year for sure. I just wore a wizard hat, so Arman said I knew magic tricks that night. Hee hee :)

But anyway enjoy and I will be back in a bit! I am gobbling down my second breakfast. A late start today, but I will get all of my meals in as planned, lol.

These are the pics from the pumpkin patch the night before:

I have to say Day 1 was a success from my little one at preschool!! Yipee and thank goodness. I did not receive any calls and I did not call to check in either. It was nerve wreaking though to be home most of the day and wondering if he was doing okay. But when he got home he was so excited and told me about the friends he meet and that he learn about the “Rainbow Song”. He stood up and showed some of the arm movement to the sing in his own way and he just melted my heart. Can you mommy’s relate? It just amazes me how much the learn and how independent they can be or how well the adapt to new things. I have to say I was so proud of him. I love my baby!! Well, my big boy now, lol. He can’t wait to go back tomorrow. I am just glad the DH will be dropping him off because I have to be at work at 7:00am and then I will be able to pick him up from school at 4:00pm. It’s great! I work all day and then my incentive to get home is to see my happy little boy and my loving DH. I love them both and feel so blessed. Well, I am off to surf the web again and then I have to get my step aerobics done in 15 minutes. Chat later

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketOh guys, today I just dropped off my little boy to preschool for the first time. He has been at home with me since birth and now he is growing up into a big boy and I don’t like it. You know what I mean? You want them to stay young forever, but they have to grow up. It think I was more nervous than he was. This morning he woke up and he said I don’t want to go to school and that is when I got butterflies in my tummy. So, we sat and hugged, then shortly after that he was ready to get dressed and eat breakfast.

After breakfast, we got packed up into my car and we were off!!! We arrived at the school and he saw the other kids and he was ready to go to his classroom he did not want to wait. So, he was off play as fast as you can say play. Then the teacher showed me where is cubby was, it had is name on it which made me want to cry, and she took me outside to the lobby where I could finish his paper work and watch him on t.v from a remote area which I thought was cool. The director reassured me that he will be fine and if I would like to call and check up on him I could. But, I don’t know if I will do that. I don’t want to make myself crazy all day, so I am going to keep myself busy.

I just hope and pray that he does fine and that he will be ready to go back on Wednesday to have fun. I also hope that I do not receive a call from his school today because that lets me know that he is doing fine. later my hubby will be picking him up from pre-school at 4:30pm and I will be eager to see how my little one liked it! I told DH to ask lots of questions.

Now, this is my first child and my first experience. How did some of you mommies out there deal with the first day of school gitters? You have any fun and sad experiences that you could share with me? I guess I just need reassurance and I can’t wait until my hubby and son walked through the door later this evening. Well, I am off to do some errands and maybe take a nap because I did not sleep at all last night due to my nervesness. Keep your fingers crossed for me and my baby.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketI was surfing the net really looking for clothes and more school stuff for my little boy when I came across this cute website totally geared to moms. This site is called baby slings. Now mind you, my child will be turning 4 this November, so he is way to old but I sure wished I knew about this site when he was a newborn/infant. I remember carrying him in this awkward bijorn which was fine, but this sling seemed to work naturally and comfortable for the infant and the mother’s back. Are there any moms out there that would agree?

These pouch slings have some really great features:

-They are the easiest and most versatile carrier to use, whether for a newborn or a 3 year.

-They are quick and easy to put on and take off compared to the traditional carrier. Moms you know exactly what I am talking about. Remember all of the snap of clicks to due inorder to wear the darn thing and then to take it off was crazy. So new moms I totally recommend you checking this out to save you some time.

-compact to pack in a purse and diaper bag. -easy to care and you can pick out from a variety of fabrics to depict your personal style which is cool!

If you know someone that will be having a baby this would be a great gift or site to recommend to her.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketWould you agree that there has been a lot a advertisements gearing towards adults and stressing the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle? I do, but what about our growing youth? I think it is very important to teach what we’ve learned about living a healthy lifestyle and passing those values down to them, so that they can grow up into healthy adults. It saddens me to see how some kids these days spend too much time doing seditary activities such as watching t.v. and playing video games for hours. One may ask how can I help my young child? Or where can I start?

Well I came across this interesting Site called PlaySportTv.com today. This site was really intriguing to me because as you know I have a child of my own and I want him to learn the benefits of eating healthy and stay active too. What I found is this site is a brand new broadband channel that is dedicated to give great sports instruction to youth sports through coaching and instruction. I also found that the PlaysportTV.com team has more that 65 years of experience in media development and they also know about sports through their many years of coaching experience. They also have managed a national sports magazine for kids and have an extensive network of coaches, athletes and other youth sports expects available to you.

The other benefits are:- Great instructional content, including more than 500 free videos that teach key skills in sports like soccer, football, basketball and many more that make it easy for parents to help develop their kids’ skills and enjoyment of the game.

- Comprehensive sportsmanship and sports parenting content to help parents develop well-rounded athletes and coaches and parents to set a good example for their kids.

- Expert blogs offering easy-to-understand tips and advice, and kid-friendly feature stories and interviews with athletes and coaches that help educate, motivate and encourage kids to get the most out of the youth sports experience.

I feel that the features to this site are phenomenal especially for a parent that may not know where to start. Additionally, with these features I believe that they will set you up for success and create a fun and interactive atmosphere for you and your child to love for many years. Heck, you may even find a new sport that you may like for yourself too. I would highly recommend anyone that are at a lost for ideas or need additional coaching techniques for the school aged kids in order to make exercise through sports a fun experience for you and your child to enjoy together.

My son and I had a great day today even though it was kind of exhausting at the same time. We were both up bright and early so I decided why not, since all the kids are back in school lets go to the pool in our neighborhood after breakfast time. We literally was at the pool at 8:30am this morning. Arman, my 3 year-old was so excited to swim and practice doing a doggy paddle and just having plan ole fun!! We were at the pool for 1/2 hours and the best part is that we had the entire pool to ourselves. So we played lots of games I even got a chance to do some water aerobics too. I really worked out my legs and arms. Shoot, I think I was more exhausted then he was once we decided to get out and dry off.

After that we went to the park to play since the weather wasn’t too hot and we ended up playing we some other kids at the park. He was so cute he says, Mommy I am having fun play with kids today…they my friends? I was like awe.. So then he and the other kids played on the playscape and then in the sandbox. They all were trying to make sand castles and burring their feet. It was so so cute!! We ended up at the park for another 1 hour. Then it was starting to get hot outside so we headed to the grocery store. We did not get home until 12:00noon. Good grief and that was when both of our tummy started to rumble so I made lunch and played. Then he was playing alone to let mommy have a mild break to blog and catch up on the lasted news.

Later my hubby was home and we played and played, ate dinner, and play some more. Now it is 8:00pm and it’s time to cute Arman’s hair. This is the part of the day that goes downhill from here. It never seams to fail, but when it is time to cut his hair the boy goes completely awhale. He doesn’t like to get his hair cut. I don’t know why? But he literally starts screaming from the top of his lungs and crying. It breaks my heart. Right now DH is still trying to play negociater to cut his hair before bathtime. I swear if you hear a child screaming right now it is probably mine. This is what his face looks like when he get his hair cut.

Can any of you mothers out there relate? Why does this happend? What makes a child not like getting his hair cut? Any solutions to our problem? I swear we have tried everything from bribery to candy and other treats. HELP? If you have any suggestions PLEASE let me know!! So we do not have to go through this anymore lol.
Well, I am off to exercise, before does not happened today. I have been really good staying to my meal plan. And, as I mentioned before I got a good workout at the pool earlier too, so that scale better show me some love this week. Chat later- Nat
