Happy New Year everyone!!

Sit back reflect and move forward in this new coming year. Let all of the bad be left in the past and move on to new and better things this year of 2008. That is what I am going to do. Here is a list of some of my New Years Resolution:

1. Stay more connected with my friends and family
2. See my mom more often this year. I miss her and love her some much. She is like my best friend, sister and mother all in one and you only have a lifetime to enjoy the time God has given us to make more memories to remember for a lifetime.
3. Take more family trips and vacations.
4. Go on more date with my husband
5. Get down to 150 pounds and get lean before May 2008
6. Get my personal trainer certificate and nutrition and wellness cert.
7. Read more and much, much more. . .

I hope that you all have a wonderful evening ringing in this new Year and I can’t wait to see what new things develops with your all in this new Year.

Have you ever found yourself wondering or thinking about some of your friends you used to hang out with or dated back in High School? Of course there are some of these people that you really connected with and still keep in contact now, but what about that person that was the most popular cheerleader, quarterback or class president?

Sometimes I wonder how some of my old friends are doing and what they have turned out to be now. And there are times that I would love to get in contact with and see how life is treating them and see what things they have accomplished along with sharing my personal accomplishments too.

Did you know that you can locate your old high school classmate for free through various online sites? The most popular sites are Classmates.com and Reunion.com. Both sites offer  free  services to locate old friends, loved ones and any body from the past that you are trying to catch up with.

Now, I signed up for both Reunion and Classmates because I found friends that were registered on one but not the other.  I have also had fellow classmate use this site to coordinate our 10 year class reunion back in 2004.  If you are longing to play catch up with that special person that has made a impression on you check Reunion and Classmates and see what you come up with.

In the lieu of Christmas eve I just had to share this with you all. Tonight we will be reading this story to our Son like we have for the past few years. This is such a Classic and I love it!!

Oh you guys I am such a softy lately. It must be PMS, hee hee

Anyway, my son and I was watching the Polar Express Movie we have on DVD and man it was wonderful! You have got to see it with your family if you haven’t. The main thing I loved is seeing the joy in our son’s eyes as he watched. He also fell in love with the children, the conductor (Played by Tom Hanks) and most of all the elves and Santa Claus. My son was like, “I want to write a letter to Santa”. Even though he just turned 4 years we both managed to write one up and I placed it in an envelope for him.

His favorite scene was “Hot Chocolate”. We were both singing and dancing and saying, hot! hot! Hot Chocolate! It was so cute. The other scene he loved is when the children on the Polar Express arrived to the North Pole to see Santa. He was in awe!! Overall, what I personally liked about this movie is what each child learned from each of their experiences on the Polar Express and how each of then can be a better person.

After watching this movie it gave me a great idea because our son wants to watch it on christmas eve before going to bed. I was thinking I would go out and get popcorn and hot chocolate to serve for the movie. He would just love it! Then after the movie is finished we could get some decorated cookies and leave them in front of our fireplace for Santa to eat. Then to top it off I was thinking of buying a Christmas bell and wrapping it in a box and leaving a note from Santa saying something similar to what was done in the movies. He would just be in heaven on Christmas day when we open up gifts.

Ahhh. My hubby and I are dreaming of a new bed next year and lately we have been thinking about a sleep number bed.
