Ahh.. finally this crap is leaving my system and now I have the strength to really exercise today. I think my plan will be to do 30 minutes of step aerobics after Arman and I play with some of his Christmas toys. Then before dinner and the Biggest Loser comes on tonight I will workout my legs and complete 15-20 minutes of my elliptical.
I just came to the realization that this is my second week working out in this New Year. Week one I lost 6 pounds bringing me to 164. This Thursday will be week 2 and so far just maintaining since I was sick. I am hoping for at least 1 pound to leave this body, so I better work my but off the next fews days. Well, I am off to check out Victoria’s Secrets sale online and use my gift card to purchase a velour hoodie and pant set. I think I will get a red set? What do you all think?

I found this quote pretty funny, but it is so true! In this game of weight loss and improving the body to weight training require daily motivation with the brain. What I kind to keep me constantly motivated is clothes that I like to wear know or other people that has success with keeping the weight off as well. I hope this quote lights the fire in you to help you reach whatever your goal may be this year in 2008.
Have a great Monday!
“People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing - that’s why we recommend it daily.”

Hey all! Thanks you so much for your kind words and wishing me better health these past few days. Today I am feeling 90% better with meds and it is also my first day back to some exercise. I just kept the exercise a bit easy today and I will ease myself back into my normal routine. I just did 15 minutes of cardio on my elliptical and 15-20 minutes of weight training on my biceps, triceps, shoulders and abs.
I can’t believe that being sick and having too much soup and crackers can make me retain so much water. I feel kind of bloated, but I am sure that will ease during the week as I continue to eat healthy and exercise a bit more.
Tomorrow before I head into work I will do tae bo amped for 30 minutes and work out my legs. I can not wait until I am 100% being sick make you tired and weak and I hate it. Oh well, I guess I am human, huh? Well, I am off to veg out a bit and off to bed.

Hey all, today I am sick as a dog. I left work last night feeling awful. I was hot and cold while working my butt off. I probably over did it. Thank God, I had today off to recuperate, but I have a feeling this if I feel this bad after my short eye surgery. Yes, eye surgery. I went in for my eye exam and the doctor found a embedded body in my eye and it needs to be removed so that my vision does not get worse. So. . . There I be. Yuck! But anyway, if I feel like this tomorrow after that I will definitely have to call in sick. I never call in sick, so this will be the first, but I have to put my health first.
As far as the weight thing goes the first week of my New year went awesome!! I lost 6 pounds bringing me to 164lbs. So when my body get well I will keep up with the clean eating for next week’s weigh in on Thursday.
Well, I am off to take a bath and go to sleep. I hope that you all are doing better and staying warm.

Hey all. I hope that you all had a safe and exciting time bringing in this New Year! I just relaxed at home because these darn cold or allergies are taking the best of me. Yesterday I was surprised that I did not pass out at work. I was sneezing and coughing, runny nose, and etc. Today I am still feeling under the weather and hope that I feel better otherwise I will have to call in sick today. I hate doing that, but my health is much more important.
I am excited to report that may scale is back at the pre-christmas numbers of 165!! If you don’t remember my scale was up to 170 after christmas and I decided to start my new years goal last Thursday! I know I was not suppose to hop on the scale until tomorrow, but I was so eager to see the number because my clothes was feeling lose again, Thank God! 5 pounds is not bad! Next week I know that I will be lose the same amount of weight, but as long as I see a loss I will be happy!
A s far as workouts today I have to keep it to a minimum because I am not feeling 100% so, I already workout my legs on the bowflex and then I will do at least 15-20 minutes of cardio on the elliptical before heading in to get my eyes examined for my contacts I have be longing to have again. I hate glasses!! I look like a dork in them, lol.

Did you all see the show last night? Wow what a lot of interesting and inspiring people on this season’s show. Which team or person did you start to connect with already? For me I loved Betty Sue!! I love her spunk and determination! How many people her age do you come across with that type of attitude? The are very few.
How about those weigh ins? Oh may gosh!! everyone lost 10lbs or more that night. Holy cow!! Except for. . Was it Jenny from the green team that lost 7lbs? Now seven pounds is still something to be proud of, but dang. She was so hard on her dad and he ended up losing 19 pounds!! Go gramps!!!
It is interesting to me that they did not use Kim Lyons as a trainer during this new season. Did they let her go? Or will she return in the fall? Because the only trainers during this season is Bob and Jillian. Both trainers are amazing, but what about Kim? Oh well. I guess we will see. Until next week!

Hey everyone! If you did not get enough of the biggest loser this season guess what? The couples show will be airing tonight 7:00pm CT. I can’t wait to watch as I get ready to lean out myself for this summer. If you are looking to lose some weight and need some inspiration to push you along the way watch this season of the biggest loser. Also if you are looking to try some of the workouts that they do on the show check out the Biggest Loser 2 (Full Frame)
DVDs.

I have this one here which is Biggest Loser: The Workout, The (Full Frame)
and love them because they have a mix of cardio workouts and strength training on them. Bob is very motivating and then contestants from the show are on there as well. Tonight before the show I will be working out to this one. I will not be doing the cardio portion only the strength training portion. Did I mention that on this dvd there is an option to customize the workouts that you want to do? It’s great!! You can even tailor a 6 week program for yourself too.
Well, I am off for now. . .
