I was working out on my elliptical the other and was listening to Jennifer Lopez’s “Lets Get Loud” and this portion of the song I thought would make a nice quote of the day. Sometimes we just need to live to the fullest and enjoy each moment of it!! Here the words that I am keeping in mind today as I take on my daily tasks and workouts too and his is the you tube of the music video for you all to get up and groove to for a second.

I just finished a great workout on my upper body today. My body feel swollen!! I needs to get pics. I completed:
lat pull downs: 3 x 15 120lbs
biceps curls: 3×15 10lbs
Arnold press: 3×15 with 2 10lbs weights
triceps: 2×15 with 5 and 1×15 with 10lbs
chest press 3×10
butterflies: 3×10 with 10lbs weights in each hand
Dang my arms kill, but that alright because I am looking for cuts!! Later this afternoon if my son will nap otherwise when DH is home will done 45 minutes of cardio with tae bo amped. I really need the cardio to burn more fat.
Tomorrow I am excited to do some grocery shopping, because I am running out of healthy food in the fridge and it is about time. I am so excited to go to GNC to purchase my BSN Dessert protein shake in the chocolate fudge pudding flavor. I have heard so many great reviews and compared to the muscle milk has way less calories more like 130 calories per serving. I hope it is as yummy and give the results I am looking for. I also will be ordering Jari Love’s Get Ripped 1000 calorie workout DVD too.
It’s after noon and I already got my workout in for today. Last night I was able to completely finish my leg workout so I did it today on my bowflex. I did:
leg extensions : 130lbs 4 reps
hamstring curls: 110lbs 4 reps
squats with 10lbs weights in hand
15 minutes of abs work on a stability ball
5 minutes of cardio on the elliptical. ( I will try to do more cardio after I return from work at least 15 more minutes, ugh!)
My meal plan:
Breakfast: south beach wrap with egg and turkey sausage, orange (300 calories)
Lunch: Lean cuisine pizza and salad(370 calories)
Snack: 100 calories pack of musketeers bar (I needed something sweet) (100 cals)
Dinner: Chicken, cauliflower (250 calories)
Dessert: Weight watcher brownie (190 cals)
totals: approx 1300 calories
Water : 70 ounces
Tomorrow I will most likely kick up the cardio and complete Tae bo amped 40 minutes workout and lift with my upper body and Friday I will take the day off and relax.
Tis the season to get skinny, fa la la la la la la la la!!! Okay I am silly, but it is true. Many people are at that point where they are getting ready to get the body lean for either spring break, vacation in the sun and summer in general. But what is the best plan out there to get them started?
After watching the biggest loser last night I decided to go take a look at Jillian Michaels program. You know Jillian Michaels, the trainer and life coach from the biggest loser! Just think about all of the people on the show that she has coached on to amazing weight loss throughout the years! That woman is fierce!!
Her plan consists of a balanced diet where she gives you recipes and grocery list to shop for. She also includes awesome workouts to get you shedding those pounds like they do on the biggest loser show too. Well, did you think it was going to happened this week? What do I mean, well, Neill and Amanda getting elliminated. I knew if they were below the yellow line it was going to happened this week and can you blame the unanamous vote? I felt sorry for Amanda she worked her butt off during her time at the ranch however her spouse did not but the same effort. As a result, this made the other competitors feel that he did not want to be there.
Did you see when Neill and Amanda went to go talk with the team before elimination time and how Amanda did most of the talking. Come on Neill! You wife wants it so bad and you could not do or say much of anything and to top that off the sarcastic remark he made before the voting and how he couldn’t pull off the tears like his wife did. Oh may Gosh!! If I was his wife I would have slapped him, lol. But anyway they are off and Amanda and suprisingly Neil have been working to keep losing weight and it will be interesting to see how they do at the finally.
Other than that I am still in love with Bette-Sue and her daughter what an awesome relationship they are developing on the show. Bette-Sue works so hard and she does it all for her daughter, but at the same time she is doing it for herself and that is the name of this game. If you are looking to lose weight do it for yourself first. The reason why I say that is because you can do it to fit in your favorite jeans or to impress others, but that will so fade along with the desire to lose the weight in the long run.

I decided to put my best foot forward and place that foot (both of them) on a journey through a 25 minute step aerobics routine with Cathe Friedrich (My fav!!). It felt so good doing it today!! My mind is ready to really work this. After that work out I did my ab workout working upper, lower and obliques for 15 minutes. Then 20 minutes before the biggest loser came on I hopped on my elliptical and was on it full steam for 20 minutes too! I feel so good and glad I got it out of the way. If only I could get the snack monster to leave. This week I am craving salty chips and I have to admit I had a few too many, but in turn I downed lots of water.
The only thing that I really need to do if weight train my legs too because it is my leg day. Ugh! So in a bit I will run upstairs in our playroom/workout room (I will have to take pics. I have to remove the workout stuff from our master bedroom because I wanted to keep that area of the home for relaxation only) and hop on the bowflex and complete 3 reps of leg extensions and 3 reps of leg curls. Then I will also add in squats with 10 pound weight in each hand.
After that I will mostly likely veg out on fashion. I want to find some fierce heels for going out with the hubby and some cute skinny jeans too! I love that I can wear them now Sometimes I feel like I am still dreaming about losing this weight, but it is not a dream.
I found this short and sweet quote that I thought is awesome for anyone battling with weight loss, building muscle to get lean for their next figure competition or whatever you are trying to accomplish this year. Read it and think about it every time you think about slacking off. I read it and now I am going to fix me a healthy lunch and lift weights. Today I will be working out my biceps, triceps, shoulders and back. I will be trying something new which is start lifting with the normal weights I use and increase the weight by 5lbs or 10lbs during my last rep in order to increase my muscle size.

Okay, I am just feeling silly and in a fun mood. Who wants to join me in bringing sexy back this summer with lean bodies? Pick me! Pick ME!! I am going be 15 pounds lighter and leaner than ever this summer. So in lieu of that I am going to play this song to get us all going.
Okay this is crazy! You know how when you get sick you eat a little of nothing? Or have much of an appetite? Well, starting Wednesday my appetite came back full force. I was sooooo hungry the past few days and let me tell you I ate junky! Wedesday I ate great in the morning and lunch, but when dinner time came I had Panda Express’s 2 plate entre which includes chow main noodles, mixed veggies and orange chicken. Then when I got home from work we had cake. Oh my gosh!! Later that evening I was so thirsty I drank 40 ounces of water before bed.
Yesterday was not any better. I had a healthy breakfast and when lunch came I had Mcdonalds. ( A Big Mac and Fries) Holy moo cow. Then for dinner I had Panda Express again, same plate. I also drank alot of water too that evening. Yikes!! I guess my body was needing some slack, but now I done.
Today I have all of my meals planned and ready to go so that I can avoid anymore eating frenzies. My meals are:
breakfast. cheerios, orange, cheese
Lunch: Tuna steak, greens beans
snack: apple cheese
Dinner: Spaghetti with greens and orange
Dessert: weight watchers ice cream/ or apple bake
As far as exercise I really need to get back into the habit because it has been at a minimum. Today I will get my elliptical workout in after chatting here and leg workout on the bowflex and I will call it a day.
April, Tress, or Beka! Help I need a new fat burner/ fat loss supplement. A friend of mine suggested that I try hydroxycut and I did, but……. That stuff make me feel like I am on speed (I have never been on it, but have seen the affects on others, lol) I felt gittery and off balance. Can you all recommend something that will not have that affect on me? I did it for two weeks and it works, but I had to stop because I do not like the way I felt on that supplement. Help?

Did you all see the biggest loser couples show late night? Is it just me or did the show kind of dragged a little. I was kind of bored watching it. The only part that got to me is after the challenge and certain people got a chance to call home and talk to their loved ones. I was a complete emotional mess. I could totally feel what they were feeling and would feel the same way.
The only thing that got me a little irritated was at the weigh ins. The people was getting so upset about the low numbers they were seeing at the weigh in, but come on. After losing the big numbers last week the body will not pull off the same results this week. I would be so proud of myself with losing a pound or 2. Wouldn’t you?
Oh well. I guess until next time we will see what happened.
