Did you all see the biggest loser tonight? I loved it. Everyone got a chance to visit the set of my favorite show, Days of Our Lives, and get star treatment. They all got makeovers and a photo shoot. Isn’t that cool? The twist of it was as they was looking at their made over self in the mirror the mirror moved and it revealed their loved ones on the other side. I was in tears. It was so nice to see them celebrate getting healthier.

The bitter sweet of the show is when they voted Kae off. I really didn’t want to see her go. She so motivated the entire team with her honesty, strength and loyalty. However, I knew that when she would have to go home she would be fine. As a matter of fact when she did get home to see her family I was so in tears. When her mom saw for the first time in a while she was shocked and in tears! I just flashed back to when my mom visited here after I had lost the weight and when she saw me we were both in tears. It is a wonderful feeling a accomplishment and how people view you and you in turn inspire them. Way to go Kae. She is another favorite of mine and she is definitely in line to win the runner up prize at the season finale.

   Did you all see her live weigh in after the show? She revealed losing a total of 88 pounds since leaving the show!! She looked absolutely amazing, beautiful and confident. Did you also see her story in the Prevention magazine? She made the cover!! What an inspiring story. If you did check it out it is still on the newsstands. I know I just came from Wal-mart. My curling iron broke and I need a new one. hee hee

I am back from my running around getting last minute Thanksgiving stuff, but before I left my son was so kind to play alone while I exercised to my step aerobics for 25 minutes!! I will take it! I feel great about it and now I have to squeeze in a 30 minutes weight workout and get ready for work in a hour. GRRRRR!!! I hate rushing, but it has to get done! Tressa, I got your message. NO MORE SLACKING!!! You can slack on Thanksgiving girlie! That’s the way I am looking at it. hee hee

I think I am on day 23 of my Thanksgiving challenge. That I pretty bad that I can’t keep track, lol. Well, today I am feeling a little better and I am about to go workout while my son is enjoying playing with his new toys from his birthday party. Today is his official Birthday!! Happy Big 4!!! Later tonight I will post some pics from his party if I am not too tired.

Anyway, I think I will…. Okay I will (better attitude here) workout my upper body since I did not get that completed yesterday. I found a great push and pull workout in my December issue of the Oxygen Magazine. They give you a few days of workouts that burn 300 calories in one workout and I love that!

Then later this morning I have to get my cardio in before work. Because I will not get home from work until 10:30pm tonight. Boy, do I hate retail hours!!!  Well, i better finish some my browsing this morning. I am looking for different ways to enhance our interior and exterior of our home. Then I have to run to Walmart and pick up the last few things for Thanksgiving too.

   Do you love the outdoors and would love to enjoy it year round? I do, because sometimes I just love to sit outside and just read a book or just relax without worrying about the weather and the yucky bugs. I also was thinking that a conservatory would be a great space to host baby showers or some type of party with the natural sunlight and the elements of the outdoors inside. Well, I have never thought of this idea until I came across this site with beautiful Conservatories that you could have constructed to be an addition to your home. I did not realize how conservatories are increasingly being used all year round. I know in my area a lot of new home builders are offering them in their packages as an option to build. People are also realizing that this is still an extension to their living space and that the cold weather can still be kept out.

I was looking at the few styles offered and they were not bad. The prices didn’t seem too bad either. I could just imagine the extra space it could give families for family gatherings like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and others. The site also show the specs of each plan so that you could plan out how to decorate the interior for many years of enjoyment.

So I will not look at that instance as defeat, but another challenge to conquer. So today I am taking the step forward. I hope that you all enjoy this quote I found and if you have a favorite on that you would like for me to post on another Monday let me know.

Hey everyone!! I am so excited to reveal the new template for my blog!! What do you think of the new look? Do you like this one or the old version better? I really want to know. My hubby and I have been spending the last hour working on it and tweaking a few links andn stuff.

Well, Today ended up being a no cardio day at all. I am kind of disappointed in myself, but my body is starting to feel yucky from the allergies. I am hoping it is just allergies because I can not get sick. I have to cook for thanksgiving and I want to be a a good mood. In the morning I will rush to Walgreens to get some meds to help with the sinus pressure and congestion. The only type of exercise I did this evening was abs. So I can’t be too hard on myself, but you know the cardio is what helps shed the fat. In the morning I am praying that I feel better so that I can get up early and do some cardio before my son wakes up and demand my attention before I go into work in the afternoon.

I am off to get some zzzz’s. Please let me know what ya think about the new look?

Hi all!! yesterday’s party when great!!! My son had fun all though he was so tired he started to get cranky and did not want to share new toys at all. The kids played until 9:00pm then it was time for everyone to go home and my little 4 year old to go to bed. Yesterday I was so gracious to get my cardio in that when I got on the scale this morning after eating pizza,cake and soda last night it did not go up. (I know) I just saw 165. Now today I have got my plan into action for the next 4 days of this challenge. Can I say detox!! I got my shakes and cabbage stew ready to go. My fish and chicken too. The plan is to do 4 days of cardio so that I can rest my body, even though I will be busy cooking my but off, on Thanksgiving. Maybe I can squeak off 1-2 more pounds before Thursday, lol.
Then I will get back onto my 32 day Christmas Challenge. The goal is to be in the 150’s. I may sound a bit redundant about trying to hit this goal over and over again, but at least I am trying when most people would give up!!

Well, in a bit I have to go to work! I really don’t want to because my allergies are getting the best of me, but I gonna do it. I hope you all have a great day and get you cardio in too. Tonight it will be step aerobics in along with weight training on the upper body. I really need to work on my abs which is my neglected area.

Good Morning ya’ll. I can not believe that I am up this early and blogging right now. Well, my son woke up and 4:00am crying, so I went to check on him and he had a bad dream. As soon and I kissed him and told him that everything was okay he immediately went back to sleep. I was like no he didn’t!! I should have stayed my behind in bed like my hubby did. That man did not budge, dang it! So, I finally climbed back into bed because I wanted to get a little more sleep before I have to get up at be at work at 9:00am. So, I am laying there and not falling asleep! Darn it!!!! My mind woke up and was thinking about the last little things I need to pick up today for my son’s party later today and then a few more food items I need to get for Thanksgiving too. So, I was trying to force the thinking and sleep, but then my mind was like if I get up early I can get my cardio in and burn a lot of calories with Tae bo amped, so that I can early my two slices of cheese pizza and a piece of birthday cake. Then my mind woke up and I finally got out of bed and headed downstairs to my computer, lol. It is freakin 5 something in the morning. I am never up this early to talk or exercise. So, with that said I will browse a little bit more and pop in my exercise DVD and burn some cals. I hope that you are not up reading this right now, but if you are I completely understand.

   I am definitely on the holiday kick this morning and way early. I was thinking this year I am in the need of some unique furnishings for our home. You are probably like how unique, right? Well, I personally are looking for fun pieces for added storage for my family room and yet it can be used for additional setting. Kind of like what you see in this pictures listed above. The reason why I want this is because in our family room I let our son keep a fews toys to play with, so if we are watching a nice movie for the family and he wants to play he can. Or, if I am cooking and he wants to play he can still be in my company and when he is finished playing he can clean up his toys and they family room looks nice and clean for company too. The other few things I am wishing for are some bar stools for my kitchen. We always have extra guests visit during the holidays or just for the sake of droping by. Granted we have a dinning room, but it seems when it is not a formal visit let’s say people are coming by to watch the football games like they will be for Thankgiving it would be nice to have the bars stools for additional seating in our kitchen. Why? Well, you know how the guys are they like to eat and sit close to the T.V. and the food. So that is why I think that would be a great choice.

So, I was browsing around and found this interesting site that offers unique furinishigs without the unique and outrageous prices. I saw a few bar stools I like, but of course I would have to show my hubby and they have nice ottomans,storage benches, and wine racks too! We do own a few interesting pieces in our home already. I love our entertainment unit for our T.V. because it has storage units on the sides of it that pull out to store DVDs, and then on the botton center of the unit it has 2 additional storage areas for our music CD’s and future video games too. So,in general I love pieces that are unique and stylish yet they have to have functionality at the same time. If you are like me and looking for similar items check it out.
