Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketWhy is there so much buzz about diet pills these days? You have seen it advertised on the television like Hoodia, Hydroxycut, Miracle burn, and CortiSlim. I have been one to test the waters in the past before my nutrisystem journey but I always wondered if they really work? How about you? I was visiting this site called DietAwarenessInstitute.org and found that they compare products from a wide array of companies and gives an analysis of each product with a common comparisons rating so that people like use can make an informed decision before buying diet supplements. You know I am one to say just loose the weight through diet and exercise because I know it works! However, if there are some of you that are just curious to try some weight loss supplements consider checking out this site before wasting money. I would also recommend consulting with your doctor as well.

Gosh, I am so tired!! I also feel sore too which is making me feel like grandma Yeta, from the Nanny show. Remember her? She cracks me up! For the past week I have been stocking products and lifting boxes to prepare our Sephora Store for the grand opening next week Saturday. I bet you all didn’t think working in cosmetics was hard work, huh? The boxes of merchandise is very heavy. I was lifting properly, but as a result my hamstrings, buttocks, lower back and other body parts are extremely store. So I did not exercise yesterday or today. To tell you the truth I could fall asleep right now! But I want to hang out with my little boy and my hubby before the night catches up with us.

I have seriously got to get back in my workout routine. The scale has not moved since last week Sunday. I am not complaining though. I guess I could be happy that I am maintaining. Has is your week going? Are you ready for the weekend? I just can’t wait until next Tuesday with is my day off!! Yipee!! I am going to sleep in late and have a blast with my little one since he is off from school too. Well I am off to watch a movie with the family. I will check in later!!

Are you getting ready to vacation some where warm soon and are in need of a hot Brazilian bikini? Sometimes this time of year it can be hard to find a decent 2 piece bikini in the store because they are not shopped and picked over. Or, some stores only offer sets and you are looking for some flexibility to mix and match your bikini of your choice. If you are that person check out this site I was browsing on tonight. It’s called Keys swim wear. At this online retailer your are able to shop for designer favorites like Michael Kor, Asha Couture, Betsey Johnson and many more. The other thing I liked is that you are to mix and match any bikini tops or bottom to suit your size shape and sense of personal style. How cool is that? The price range can range from moderate to high end, so almost everyone can find a bikini, tankinis or even a one piece without feeling like you are breaking the bank. I sure wish I had some where warm to go to otherwise I would be shopping for one right now.Tags: bikini tops, bikini, swimwear, brazilian bikinis

Hey everyone!

I hope your day went well today. I am so tired!! I worked all day and then I got home to have fun with my family and of course my little one wanted all of my attention, so we played until I needed to eat dinner. After that I was browsing the web for a while then I finally got my workout in before I mentally decided to forget about it. It was hard so hard to workout because I was so tired, but I managed to complete at least 25 minutes. I guess that is better than nothing at all, right?

After that I was playing with my little one until I realized that I better get him to bed early for school tomorrow. So I washed him up and was getting ready to brush his teeth and all of a sudden he throws a tantrum saying that he doesn’t want to brush his teeth!! I was thinking Oh, hell! What is the deal with you already! You think his is going through one of his days or is he just cranky? Geez!!!! I finally asked him if he wanted to brush his own teeth and he said, NO!!! NO!!! I did not feel like arguing with him, so I told him if he wanted mommy to ready Oswald, one of his favorites books, he will have to get his teeth brushed and not give mommy anymore grief over brushing his teeth in the future. finally his tone changed and he opened his mouth. WOW! Do any of you moms go through this? I swear it can be a challenge.

I finally got him to bed and twenty minutes to 9:00pm I just realized I missed most of the Biggest Loser! darn, Darn, DARN!!! I forgot to record it and now I am sad. I really want to keep up with the show this season. So I told my husband to set up the VCR for ongoing recordings. Now I should be safe for the future showings. Did anyone watch it? How was the weigh ins? Did the black team finally cause havoc yet? You have got to clue me in!!! Please?

Well, I am really going to sign off in a bit so that I can shower and  get some sleep. I have to be at work at 7:00am, thank God Dh is dropping off our son to school so that he does not have to be there all day long. Chat later!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Have you ever wondered what factors can cause acne? I know I have, because I have never had an acnes problem until after giving birth to my son. I am starting to notice acne on my chin and jawline, however it is not severe. But, I hate it because acne causes me to feel more self conscious and less confident on days when it affects me, and I can only imagine how people that deal with acne as on going issue may feel. After talking to a lot of other women, I found that my case seemed to be more common to women going through hormonal changes after baring children and menopause too. I always thought that my acne was affected by certain foods I ate. But after browsing this site I was enlightened on many type of acne people experience. I also thought this site was a great learning tool for me since I work in the cosmetics industry.

Ance.com say that acne is not caused by certain foods we eat. They suggest that scientists have been unable to find Any substantial connection between diet and acne. However a healthy diet will help your body have the strength to help you in your fight against acne. They also list of misconceptions of acne too which I find interesting. The other thing I like about this site is that it educate you on the different types of acne breakouts with text and if you are a visual person they even show pictures of different acne. It’s kind of gross, but very effective in determining what type of acne you have and what type of treatment is out there that you can purchase to treat the condition. Check it out and if you are curious on finding a way to treat your acne this site is very informative and will not leave you uninformed.

I have to say Day 1 was a success from my little one at preschool!! Yipee and thank goodness. I did not receive any calls and I did not call to check in either. It was nerve wreaking though to be home most of the day and wondering if he was doing okay. But when he got home he was so excited and told me about the friends he meet and that he learn about the “Rainbow Song”. He stood up and showed some of the arm movement to the sing in his own way and he just melted my heart. Can you mommy’s relate? It just amazes me how much the learn and how independent they can be or how well the adapt to new things. I have to say I was so proud of him. I love my baby!! Well, my big boy now, lol. He can’t wait to go back tomorrow. I am just glad the DH will be dropping him off because I have to be at work at 7:00am and then I will be able to pick him up from school at 4:00pm. It’s great! I work all day and then my incentive to get home is to see my happy little boy and my loving DH. I love them both and feel so blessed. Well, I am off to surf the web again and then I have to get my step aerobics done in 15 minutes. Chat later

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket I must be still thinking and dreaming about vacation today! I know I want to go to Paris and Walt Disney World, but I was thinking to myself, “try something different for once”. But what would that be? I was talking to a friend of mine today about this same topic and she suggested going to a ski resort. I was like a ski resort? I haven’t been skiing since high school for a PE class. But I thought she maybe on to something. Because skiing would be great for exercise while on vacation, but fun at the same time. Also it is something that me and my hubby have never tried before together too! So, maybe this would be a trip that I would try with just the two of us first and when Arman gets a little older maybe him too? What do you all think? Is the age of 4 too young for him to learn how to ski?

Well, I decided to do some research on Tahoe Reno resorts at Tahoe360.com because I would not have a clue on how to plan a vacation like that. What I found is that their site is very interactive especially for someone like me that likes to get as much information I can on a particular area of travel before traveling. They have interactive maps to ski resorts, hotels and restaurants. You can also see snow and weather reports and visit lake Tahoe ski resort web cams there too. I thought that was pretty neat. If you are a snow bunny and want to be one I suggest you check this out and see what you think. Maybe we will all become snow bunnies soon.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketOh guys, today I just dropped off my little boy to preschool for the first time. He has been at home with me since birth and now he is growing up into a big boy and I don’t like it. You know what I mean? You want them to stay young forever, but they have to grow up. It think I was more nervous than he was. This morning he woke up and he said I don’t want to go to school and that is when I got butterflies in my tummy. So, we sat and hugged, then shortly after that he was ready to get dressed and eat breakfast.

After breakfast, we got packed up into my car and we were off!!! We arrived at the school and he saw the other kids and he was ready to go to his classroom he did not want to wait. So, he was off play as fast as you can say play. Then the teacher showed me where is cubby was, it had is name on it which made me want to cry, and she took me outside to the lobby where I could finish his paper work and watch him on t.v from a remote area which I thought was cool. The director reassured me that he will be fine and if I would like to call and check up on him I could. But, I don’t know if I will do that. I don’t want to make myself crazy all day, so I am going to keep myself busy.

I just hope and pray that he does fine and that he will be ready to go back on Wednesday to have fun. I also hope that I do not receive a call from his school today because that lets me know that he is doing fine. later my hubby will be picking him up from pre-school at 4:30pm and I will be eager to see how my little one liked it! I told DH to ask lots of questions.

Now, this is my first child and my first experience. How did some of you mommies out there deal with the first day of school gitters? You have any fun and sad experiences that you could share with me? I guess I just need reassurance and I can’t wait until my hubby and son walked through the door later this evening. Well, I am off to do some errands and maybe take a nap because I did not sleep at all last night due to my nervesness. Keep your fingers crossed for me and my baby.

Where there is great difficulty there are also great opportunities. Where there is sorrow, there is also much possibility for real joy.

It’s a new week and I am so driven to stay focused. Remember yesterday when I said that my scale was being merciful to me after my cheats? It showed 159.5 yesterday and today is another story. Grrr! I got on it that thing this morning and it showed 163! Now how in the world does that happened? I don’t even know why I asked that question. I am retaining so much water from all of the salty foods I ate last week. I feel like a flotation device. Yuk! So please help me this week.

I really want to hone in on muscle strengthening and definition this fall. I am serious!! I want to firm up and get rid of the soft areas that still remain on my body, lol. Well, I just downloaded this e-book that I will try and see if it will help me meet my fitness goals. I don’t want to me completely muscular, but I guess I want to look firm and tone kind of like the fitness models you see in the magazines and fitness competitions.

Have any of you heard of this e-book by Tom Venuto called, “Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle“? This is the one I have and I was just wondering if any of you have tried this and had any success with it? I am going to give it a try and I will post updates on my progress.
