Happy Monday!!

Mondays are my hardest day of the week. I don’t know why I don’t like Mondays, but that’s the way it is. So, lately to keep my Monday as postive as I can I have been reading motivation quotes on the regular to keep my spirits up and some days it helps and others I need to read a bit more. So, I decided to start something new. I will share the quotes I read with you all too every Monday. I hope that this will inspire you and keep you lifted during your week too.

Enjoy

Natasha

One of the commonest mistakes and one of the costliest is thinking that success is due to some genius, some magic - something or other which we do not possess. Success is generally due to holding on, and failure to letting go. You decide to learn a language, study music, take a course of reading, train yourself physically. Will it be success or failure? It depends upon how much pluck and perseverance that word “decide” contains. The decision that nothing can overrule, the grip that nothing can detach will bring success. Remember the Chinese proverb, “With time and patience, the mulberry leaf becomes satin.”

Good evening all!!!

I came across this great article and I wanted to share this all with you. I don’t know about you, but I definitely want to get my body sculpt and toned for summer. Swimsuit season is approaching us very, very soon.

Enjoy :)

Designing Your Own Body Sculpting Workout Plan
By Machelle Lee

A body sculpting work out plan can be hard on your body. By using intense resistance exercises and multiple repetitions, you can define your muscles, tighten any ‘loose’ areas, and reshape your figure. But all the information you find on the internet and in magazines may have you wondering if it’s even possible for you to find one body sculpting work out plan that will work for you – there are just too many choices out there. In truth, you can design a body sculpting plan that will work for you. Here’s how.

When you want to create your own body sculpting work out plan, you need to look at what your body needs. Are you looking to add muscle tone or are you new to exercise altogether? Once you determine your goals, you will be able to create a plan that’s custom-made for you. Make a list of all the goals you want to achieve with this fitness plan and then consider the following body areas you can target:

* Upper body
* Abdominals
* Lower body

While you may have certain areas that need more toning than others, you will want to create a body sculpting work out plan that includes all of the major areas of your body. This allows you to have a balanced look instead of creating a body that’s toned in some areas, but not in others. And it’s also good to note that spot reducing is not possible. Trying to reduce the size of your thighs is not something a body sculpting plan can do necessarily possible, but when you increase the muscle in your arms and torso, your thighs can look thinner in comparison as well as be tighter from your fitness work.

There are seven exercises that every body sculpting work out plan should include:

* Basic abdominal crunches
* Pushups
* Shoulder presses
* Bench presses
* Squats
* Lunges
* Calf raises

While these exercises might seem too simple, they are simply the most effective choices for a beginning plan. As you progress, you can add more exercises to the routine or reconfigure the routine entirely. After all, why make your body sculpting work out plan more complicated than it needs to be?

To make your body sculpting work out plan effective, we sure to workout out certain muscle groups every other day. For example, you should workout your upper body one day and the lower body the next. Or you can do all of your exercises on one day and then rest the day after. You need to include this rest in order for your muscles to repair themselves and be ready to work hard the next time.

Happy Saturday all:)

I just wanted to let everyone know the results of the poll I had on which dress I should wear for mother’s day. Thanks to all that participated!!

  • 50% Liked the Raisin colored dress
  • 25% Wanted the white dress to be worn
  • 25% Wanted the black sexy dress

Wow!! So, I let my hubby be the last deciding factor since I am wearing this to look cute for him too. He loves the black sexy dress, so guess which one I am ordering??? That’s right this one below.

Black Sexy Dress at Nordstorms

I checked the store and they are out of my size!! Darn, so I will be ordering it and if it doesn’t make it here in time I have a back up dress and I will just wear the new one on June 12th which is our 8th wedding anniversary. We are planning a nice romantice dinner and something else fun too. lol. But, once I get the dress I will take lots of pics.

Until then, Have a wonderful Saturday,

Truffles 170 calories per piece!!I was having a great day until I started stressing just about life in general. My first offense was at the mall ya’ll. My son and I went there just to play for 1 hour at the inflatable playland and then he remembered that Grandpa gave him $2.00 to go buy a special sweet treat for himself. So, I took him to Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory to buy him his favorite Chocolate Chip Cookie. As I was picking his cookie out I notice something that I haven’t had in a long, Long, LONG time. They called me, “Natasha…. Just buy 1. No buy two!!!” I was just going to buy one, but when I open my mouth I said I will take 3. I know, what was I thinking!!! All I know is that I wanted the darn chocolate truffles. So I bought them.

So as Arman enjoyed his cookie, I ate the truffles, ALL of them. :(

Then Arman and I decided to go to 2 parks and played. He was exhausted and I was too. So we got home and he took his nap. While he was sleeping I decided I wanted some ruffles. A bowl full of those darn things and then I had a skinny cow ice cream sandwich!!! I know what is wrong with me??? I AM NOT PREGNANT, but slipping back to my emotional eating again. So after feeling bad about all of this I decided to go for a jog in order to do some damage control.

  • DH was home so I decided to go for a 40 minute jog in the neighborhood. Calories burned approx. 250
  • After dinner I did 25 minutes of Cathe Friedrich’s Cardio Fusion DVD. Calories burned approx 225

Thank God for exercise huh? Well I hope my efforts to undo the damage works!!

Today was a bad day, but I will just pick myself up and get back on track because I only have about 7 pounds to go until I hit my goal weight again which is 160. I can NOT let emtional eatting undo my success. I WILL NOT. lol At least until Friday. I have a lunch date with a great friend and guess where we are headed to? Chillies!! OMG I will have to be strong and not order a hamburger and fries, but if I do I better be prepared for an ultimate exercise battle. I will let you know how I do later.

But until them. I got my plan together for tomorrow. I will do 50 mins of Cathe’s DVD and I my even take Arman in the stroller for a walk in the neighborhood for 30 minutes, weather permitting though. My menu will be as follow:

Breakfast:

  1. Oatmeal 200 cals
  2. Canadian Bacon 40 cals
  3. Oh no I am out of fruit ( I guess we will be running to the grocery store after breakfast)

Lunch:

  1. Baked Orange roughy 4oz 150 cals
  2. Salad
  3. String cheese

Snack:

  1. Apple
  2. 1 serving of shrimp

Dinner:

  1. NS Pasta Fagoli
  2. Salad
  3. Zucchini

Dessert:

  1. Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sandwich

So I think I should be okay!! Well I am going to get ready to sleep and be prepare my mind for an awesome day.

Night,

Natasha:)

P.S. Please help me decided what dress I should purchase this weekend to wear for mother’s day. My post below shows the dresses and has a poll where you can vote. Thank you so much:)
