Man the holidays are hard!!! All of the yummy food, sweets and treats that are in my face everyday. All I can say is that it is detox time for me and time for setting my goals for the new year.  What are yours? I have a few to start off with:

1. Get back down below my goal weight which is 155. My goal weight is 160 pounds.

2. Work on exercising regularly and being consitant again with my workout routines every week.

3. Work on awesome abs for the summer months, so that I can wear a bikini too!!  Here is my inspiration ya’ll:

Doesn’t Beyonce’s abs look AWESOME?? I want abs like that so bad!! But we will just start plugging away. I hope that all of you fun during this holiday season and are ready to ring in the New Year with style & good health.

LOL,

Natasha

Glitter My Words
Glitter My Words

I don’t know about you all, but I can’t wait until tomorrow morning to see my little one run for joy down the stairs to open his wonderful christmas gifts this year.  I am so thankful to God that my family is safe and healthy this year and I pray that God is blessing all of you this year and into the New year as well.

If I am not too tired from the family festivities tomorrow I will try to post some pics of me and my family on Christmas day.

Merry Christmas,

Natasha

Twaswas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads;
And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled down for a long winter’s nap,
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.

Awayway to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below,
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer,
With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;

Now, Dasher! now, Dancer! Now, Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! On Cupid! On, Donner and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! dash away! dash away all!

Ass dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky,
 So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,
With the sleigh full of toys, and St. Nicholas too.
And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my hand, and was turning around,
Down the chimney St. Nicholas came with a bound.

Hee was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot;
A bundle of toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler just opening his pack.
His eyes — how they twinkled! His dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow;

Thehe stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath;
He had a broad face and a little round belly,
That shook, when he laughed like a bowlful of jelly.
He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself;
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread;

Hee spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the stockings; then turned with a jerk,
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose;
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight,
“Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!”

by Clement Clarke Moore

I just had to share this with you all. I love this story and I read it to my little angel every christmas.  Enjoy.

Hi all,

I guess I just needed to vent today.  I am sure some of you have these days too!  I have been consistant to my exercise and healthy eating and the scale did not budge not even a 1/2 pound. What’s up with that???? GRR!!! That darn scale is just being mean.

But I have to remember that the clothes are getting looser, so maybe I lost inches this week and the scale will move next week thursday for me. Let me know what you think?

Well, today I  am hanging out with my 3 year old little boy and later tonight I will be giving a bride and her bridal party a Mary Kay make-over today.  So, wish me luck.  I love to make people look and feel beautiful and that is my mission  through weight loss too. So, ladies if you ever need any make up tips don’t hesitate to ask.

Have a awesome day and lets all work on losing this week!!

Natasha

I just had to post this song from a famous tune, “It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year”.  I saw this posted on my fellow NS buddy’s blog today and it had me LMAO. Special thanks to Tressa.

It’s The Most Fattening Time Of The Year
With that pumpkin pie filling
and everyone swilling down eggnog and beer
It’s The Most Fattening Time Of The Year

It’s the lip-smakinist season of all
while you’re shopping you’re cheating
impusively eating that junk at the mall

it’s the heav heaviest season of all

There’ll be turkeys for bastingand stuffing for tasting
and giblets and gravey ill flow
there’ll be cookies that mom baked and leftover
fruitcake from a Christmas a long time ago

It’s the scale flattening time of the year
while your diet your blowing there’s calories
going straight down to your rear
It’s the scale flattening time of the year

There’ll be after meal dozing and arteries closing
cholesterol levels will growIt’s to cold to jogging
to brisk for to bogganing
so pass me a hot buttered roll

It’s The Most Fattening Time Of The Year
all those gingerbread shingles and chocolate
Kris Kringles will tremble in fear
It’s The Most Fattening Time - It’s The belt loosening time
It’s The Most Fattening Time Of The Year

-Bob Rivers Twisted Tune

Now, after reading that let me get off my butt and Tae Bo some of this extra jiggly stuff off for an 1/2 hour.

LOL,

Natasha

I still can’t believe this is me. I remeber starting this journey back in September 14, 2005 and couldn’t imagine in a million years that I would come this far!! But I did with all of the ups and down this was well worth it thanks for Nutrisystem. The picture of me above are kind of special to me because in May of 2006 I entered them in NS’s “The Great Weight off Contest” in hopes of winning on of the following prizes:
  1. $10,000
  2. $1,000
  3. $500
  4. digital scale
  5. digital scale

This contest from my knowledge had a record breaking amount off entries and to make a long story short I ended up place 2nd place and $1000!! Isn’t that AWESOME!!! My DH was so sweet and left me use every single penny to purchase a new wardrobe. I guess he felt bad that all of my clothes look like bags on me. I love him!!! But if NS has another contest like I urge you to enter because you will never know where that opportunity can take you.

Before I leave for the evening I also wanted to share some other photos of me and my transformation. I found some fat ones (I really don’t like them, but here they are.)

Enjoy,

Natasha (nhop1976)
